The Communist Party of India is not in any alliance, said the party’s state secretary M. Veerapandian.
The Tamil Nadu state executive committee meeting of the Communist Party of India was held in Coimbatore on the 10th and 11th, under the leadership of state treasurer M. Arumugam, former MLA.
At the meeting, the party’s state secretary M. Veerapandian, national executive committee member T.M. Moorthy, deputy secretaries N. Periyasamy and M. Ravi, Members of Parliament K. Subbarayan (Tiruppur) and Y. Selvaraj (Nagapattinam), and Legislative Assembly member K. Marimuthu (Thiruthuraipoondi), along with state executive committee members, took part.
There was an extensive discussion on current political developments and on the life issues of workers, agricultural laborers, farmers, and the general public.
The resolutions adopted are as follows:
In the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election, TVK emerged as the single largest party by winning more votes and more seats from the people. The Governor of Tamil Nadu should have, by convention, invited it to form the government. However, acting as a political tool of the central RSS-BJP government, he attempted to bring in BJP’s indirect rule under the name of President’s Rule. In addition, several other attempts were made to create an alternative government by violating democratic norms against the will of the people. The state executive committee meeting of the Communist Party of India rejected both of these and decided to extend outside support to TVK to prevent them. The Communist Party of India does not need to seek guidance or permission from anyone to take its own decisions; nor did anything of that sort happen.
Protecting the interests of working people, resisting corporate attacks carried out in defiance of those interests, defeating communal fascist forces that divide people along religious lines and incite conflict in order to seize power, and upholding social justice are the political principles of the Communist Party of India.
On these conditions, the Communist Party of India extended support to the T.V.K. government. It refused to participate in the cabinet.
Chief Minister Joseph Vijay has assured the people that he will “protect social justice, equality, and secularism, and continue implementing the welfare schemes of the previous government.” It hopes that the new government will fulfill both that promise and the people’s expectations that it safeguard state rights and implement the election promises of the TVK. At the same time, if the government engages in actions contrary to its political stance, the Communist Party of India will fight alongside the affected people.
At the all-India level, the Communist Party of India is part of the “India” alliance. In a situation where many parties that were part of the Secular Progressive Alliance in Tamil Nadu have withdrawn, there has been no need for the Communist Party of India to join and work with any alliance.
The RSS-BJP central government is aggressively engaged in actions that undermine the federal system established by the Indian Constitution and India’s cultural diversity. It has brought democratic institutions, including the Election Commission, courts, intelligence agencies, and enforcement departments, under its control. State rights are being stripped away. Against such fascist, dictatorial tyranny, the State Executive Committee of the Communist Party of India resolves to strongly build left unity in Tamil Nadu and to struggle in alliance with all progressive, secular, democratic forces.
Protests will be held on June 29 in district headquarters, condemning the central government’s anti-people policies and urging the state government to fully waive farmers’ crop loans.
The continuously rising prices of petrol, diesel, cooking gas, and piped natural gas are severely affecting the lives of the public. The central government's fuel pricing policies are the main reason for the rise in the prices of essential goods, the increase in transportation costs, the rise in agricultural production costs, and the economic burden on families.
Petrol, diesel, cooking gas, and piped natural gas prices must be reduced immediately. Excise duty and other taxes on fuels must be significantly reduced. The cooking gas subsidy must be fully restored and expanded. Immediate action must be taken to control the rise in prices caused by fuel price hikes.
The Central Government has announced four labor codes in favor of corporates, abolishing 44 laws that workers fought for and won over more than a hundred years.
The Central Government must withdraw the legal codes that strip workers and the working people of their legal rights. The Tamil Nadu Government should declare that these legal codes cannot be implemented in Tamil Nadu.
The BJP-led Central Government has repealed the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, enacted by the United Progressive Alliance Central Government in 2005, on December 16, 2025, and has announced that a new scheme called V.P. Gramji will be implemented from July 1.
This new scheme has taken away state rights and imposed a condition that the state government must bear 40 percent of the financial burden of the project cost. In addition, it has stripped away the rights of the village panchayat and gram sabha, as well as the legal right to employment that rural laborer families had enjoyed for twenty years.
The Tamil Nadu government should pass a resolution in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly demanding that this anti-people new law be withdrawn, and that the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme be further strengthened and continued, and should put pressure on the Central Government.
Crop loans should be fully waived. Not only for farmers with land up to five acres, as promised in the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam election manifesto, but all farmers’ crop loans should be fully waived and they should be freed from the burden of debt.
As promised in the T.V.K. election manifesto, steps should be taken immediately to regularize contract and outsourced workers.
It was decided at the Tamil Nadu state executive committee meeting to hold protests in district headquarters across Tamil Nadu on Monday, June 29, insisting on the above five demands.

நிறைவேற்றப்பட்ட தீர்மானங்கள் பின்வருமாறு:

உழைக்கும் மக்களின் நலன்களைப் பாதுகாப்பதும், அதனை மறுத்து முன்னெடுக்கப்படும் கார்ப்பரேட் தாக்குதல்களை எதிர்ப்பதும், அதிகாரத்தைக் கைப்பற்றுவதற்காக மக்களை மதரீதியாகப் பிளவு படுத்தி மோத வைக்கும் வகுப்புவாத பாசிச சக்திகளை முறியடிப்பதும், சமூகநீதியை நிலை நிறுத்துவதும் இந்தியக் கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சியின் அரசியல் கொள்கை நிலையாகும்.
இவற்றை நிபந்தனையாகக் கொண்டு, த.வெ.க. அரசுக்கு இந்தியக் கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சி ஆதரவளித்தது. அமைச்சரவையில் பங்கேற்க மறுத்துவிட்டது.
முதல்வர் ஜோசப் விஜய், “சமூக நீதி, சமநீதி, மதச்சார்பின்மை ஆகியவற்றைப் பாதுகாப்பதாகவும், சென்ற அரசின் நலத்திட்டங்களைத் தொடர்ந்து செயல்படுத்தப்போவதாகவும்” மக்களுக்கு உறுதியளித்துள்ளார். அதனையும், மாநில உரிமைகளைப் பாதுகாப்பதோடு, த.வெ.க.வின் தேர்தல் வாக்குறுதிகளை செயல்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்ற மக்களின் எதிர்பார்ப்புக்களையும் புதிய அரசு நிறைவேற்றும் என நம்புகிறது. அதே நேரத்தில் தனது அரசியல் நிலைக்கு மாறான செயல்பாட்டில் அரசு ஈடுபடுமானால், பாதிக்கப்பட்ட மக்களோடு இணைந்து இந்தியக் கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சி போராடும்.
அகில இந்திய அளவில் “இந்தியா” கூட்டணியில் இந்தியக் கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சி அங்கம் வகிக்கிறது. தமிழ்நாட்டில் மதச்சார்பற்ற முற்போக்குக் கூட்டணியில் இருந்த பல கட்சிகள் வெளியேறி விட்ட சூழலில், இந்தியக் கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சி, எந்தக் கூட்டணியிலும் இணைந்து செயல்பட வேண்டிய தேவை எழவில்லை.

பெட்ரோல், டீசல், சமையல் எரிவாயு மற்றும் குழாய் இயற்கை எரிவாயு விலைகளை உடனடியாகக் குறைக்க வேண்டும். எரிபொருள்களின் மீதான கலால் வரி மற்றும் பிற வரிகளை கணிசமாகக் குறைக்க வேண்டும். சமையல் எரிவாயு மானியத்தை முழுமையாக மீட்டெடுத்து விரிவுபடுத்த வேண்டும். எரிபொருள் விலை உயர்வால் ஏற்பட்டுள்ள விலைவாசி உயர்வைக் கட்டுப்படுத்த உடனடி நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும்.

தொழிலாளர்கள் மற்றும் உழைக்கும் மக்களின் சட்ட உரிமைகளை பறிக்கும் சட்ட நெறி தொகுப்புகளை மத்திய அரசு திரும்பப் பெற வேண்டும். இந்த சட்டத் தொகுப்புகளை தமிழ்நாட்டில் அமலாக்க முடியாது என தமிழ்நாடு அரசு அறிவிக்க வேண்டும்.
ஐக்கிய முற்போக்குக் கூட்டணி மத்திய அரசு 2005 ஆம் ஆண்டு நிறைவேற்றிய மகாத்மா காந்தி தேசிய ஊரக வேலை உறுதியளிப்புச் சட்டத்தை பாஜக மத்திய அரசு கடந்த டிசம்பர் 16, 2025 ரத்து செய்து, விபி கிராம்ஜி என்ற புதிய திட்டத்தை ஜூலை முதல் தேதியில் இருந்து அமலாக்குவதாக அறிவித்துள்ளது.
இந்த புதிய திட்டம் மாநில உரிமையை பறித்துக் கொள்வதுடன், திட்டச் செலவில் 40 சதவீதம் நிதிச் சுமையை மாநில அரசு ஏற்க வேண்டும் என நிபந்தனை விதித்துள்ளது. அத்துடன் கிராம ஊராட்சி மற்றும் கிராமசபா உரிமைகளையும், ஊரகப் பகுதி உடல் உழைப்புத் தொழிலாளர் குடும்பங்கள் இருபது ஆண்டுகளாக பெற்றிருந்த சட்டபூர்வ வேலை பெறும் உரிமையை பறித்துக் கொண்டுள்ளது.
இந்த மக்கள் விரோத புதிய சட்டத்தை திரும்பப் பெற்று, மகாத்மா காந்தி தேசிய ஊரக வேலை உறுதியளிப்புத் திட்டத்தை மேலும் வலுப்படுத்தி தொடர்ந்து செயல்படுத்த வேண்டும் என தமிழ்நாடு சட்டப் பேரவையில் தீர்மானம் நிறைவேற்றி, தமிழ்நாடு அரசு மத்திய அரசுக்கு அழுத்தம் கொடுக்க வேண்டும்.
பயிர்க் கடன்கள் முழுமையாக தள்ளுபடி செய்ய வேண்டும். தமிழக வெற்றிக் கழகம் தேர்தல் அறிக்கையில் உறுதியளித்துள்ள ஐந்து ஏக்கர் வரை நிலமுள்ள விவசாயிகளுக்கு மட்டும் அல்லாமல், அனைத்து விவசாயிகளின் பயிர்க் கடன்களையும் முழுமையாக தள்ளுபடி செய்து கடன் சுமையில் இருந்து விடுவிக்க வேண்டும்.
த.வெ.க. தேர்தல் அறிக்கையில் வாக்குறுதியளித்துள்ளவாறு, காண்ட்ராக்ட், அவுட்சோர்ஸ் தொழிலாளர்களை நிரந்தரப்படுத்துவதற்கான நடவடிக்கைகளை உடனடியாகத் துவக்க வேண்டும்.
மேற்கண்ட ஐந்து கோரிக்கைகளையும் வலியுறுத்தி வரும் ஜூன் 29 ஆம் தேதி திங்கள்கிழமை தமிழ்நாடு முழுவதும் மாவட்டத் தலைநகர்களில் ஆர்ப்பாட்டம் நடத்துவது என தமிழ்நாடு மாநில நிர்வாகக் குழுக் கூட்டத்தில் முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டது.
