At Tamil.Zone, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. This page explains what data we may hold about you and how you can request its deletion.

What Happens After Your Request

Once we receive your request:

1. We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days.
2. We may ask you to verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate.
3. We will process the deletion within 30 days of verifying your identity.
4. We will confirm by email once your data has been deleted.

Newsletter Unsubscribe

If you only wish to stop receiving newsletters — without deleting all your data — you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any newsletter email we send you. Your email address will be removed from our mailing list immediately.

Exceptions & Limitations

In some circumstances, we may be unable to delete all of your data. This can happen when:

• We are required by law to retain certain records (e.g. financial or legal obligations).
• The data is necessary for us to fulfil a contract or ongoing service you have with us.
• The data has already been anonymised and can no longer be linked to you.

In these cases, we will inform you of the specific reason we are unable to fulfil the request in full.

Third-Party Services

Tamil.Zone uses third-party services that may independently store your data, such as:

• Email newsletter platforms — for managing newsletter subscriptions.
• Analytics tools — for anonymised site usage statistics.
• Social media platforms — if you interacted with our content via Facebook, Instagram, or similar platforms.
