One of the MPs, Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, has said that the disgruntled MPs who left the Trinamool Congress party have no connection with the disgruntled MLAs in that party.
After the BJP won the West Bengal Assembly election and brought an end to the 15-year rule of the Trinamool Congress, a split emerged within the Trinamool Congress. Among the party’s 80 MLAs, dissatisfied MLAs broke away as a separate faction. Their number is now said to have increased to 65. Similarly, among the party’s 28 Lok Sabha MPs, 20 dissatisfied MPs broke away separately and joined the Nationalist Citizens’ Party from Tripura.
One of the dissatisfied MPs who joined that party, Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, told reporters at the Parliament complex in New Delhi on Tuesday:
The dissatisfied MPs have been welcomed by the Nationalist Citizens Party with delight. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, we will work together with the National Democratic Alliance.
The issue of the MLAs is different: we have no connection with the dissatisfied Trinamool Congress MLAs. The dissatisfied MPs function as a separate group, and the dissatisfied MLAs function as a separate group. The problems and agenda of the dissatisfied MLAs are different. That has no connection with us either. At present, the number of dissatisfied MPs stands at 20. It may soon increase to 22, he said.
Nationalist Citizens Party leader from the disgruntled MPs: Shevli Gundu, the founder of the Nationalist Citizens Party, stepped down from the post of party leader last Monday. Following this, Jyotiprakash Chatterjee, one of the disgruntled MPs, has taken over as the new leader of the party, Kakoli Ghosh told PTI news agency.

Rachna Banerjee, one of the disgruntled MPs, said that the disgruntled MPs are not acting against Mamata Banerjee, the former Chief Minister of West Bengal and leader of the Trinamool Congress party.
He further said, “There will never be a rebellion against Mamata. Our relationship with her will always remain the same. People voted for us because they saw Mamata. However, if there is a political understanding between the central and state governments, it will help development work. People expect something to be done for them. For that, support from the central government is very important. But in the past, when we were in the Trinamool Congress, there were many occasions when obstacles were created in our work. Because of this, we were unable to do the people’s work we had intended to do,” he said.
All-party meeting:
Mamata-supporting MLAs not invited
The West Bengal Legislative Assembly budget session is scheduled to be held on Thursday (June 18). In connection with this, an all-party meeting of the Assembly was called. At the meeting held in Kolkata on Tuesday, an invitation was extended to the dissident MLAs led by Trinamool Congress MLA Ritabrata Banerjee to participate.
The party officially appointed Mamata-backed Trinamool MLA Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay as the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly. However, since he was supported by the dissident MLAs, who form the majority among Trinamool MLAs, Assembly Speaker Biman Banerjee recently recognized Ritabrata Banerjee as the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly.
Following this, the dissident MLAs led by Ritabrata Banerjee were invited to participate in the all-party meeting. Mamata’s loyalists, Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay and MLA Kunal Ghosh, were not invited to attend the meeting.

அதிருப்தி எம்.பி.க்களை தேசியவாத குடிமக்கள் கட்சி மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் ஏற்றுள்ளது. பிரதமா் மோடி, மத்திய உள்துறை அமைச்சா் அமித் ஷா ஆகியோரின் தலைமையின் கீழ், தேசியவாத ஜனநாயக கூட்டணியுடன் சோ்ந்து நாங்கள் பணியாற்றுவோம்.
எம்எல்ஏக்களின் பிரச்னை வேறு: திரிணமூல் காங்கிரஸ் அதிருப்தி எம்எல்ஏக்களுடன் எங்களுக்கு எந்தத் தொடா்பும் இல்லை. அதிருப்தி எம்.பி.க்கள் தனி அணியாகவும், அதிருப்தி எம்எல்ஏக்கள் தனி அணியாகவும் செயல்படுகிறோம். அதிருப்தி எம்எல்ஏக்களின் பிரச்னைகளும், திட்டமும் வேறு. அதற்கும் எங்களுக்கும் தொடா்பில்லை. தற்போது அதிருப்தி எம்.பி.க்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 20-ஆக உள்ளது. இது விரைவில் 22-ஆக அதிகரிக்கக் கூடும் என்று தெரிவித்தாா்.
தேசியவாத குடிமக்கள் கட்சிக்கு அதிருப்தி எம்.பி. தலைவா்: தேசியவாத குடிமக்கள் கட்சியின் நிறுவனரான ஷெவ்லி குண்டு, கடந்த திங்கள்கிழமை அக்கட்சி தலைவா் பதவியில் இருந்து விலகினாா். இதைத்தொடா்ந்து அக்கட்சியின் புதிய தலைவராக அதிருப்தி எம்.பி.க்களில் ஒருவரான ஜோதிபிரகாஷ் சட்டா்ஜி பொறுப்பேற்றுள்ளதாக காகோலி கோஷ் பிடிஐ செய்தி நிறுவனத்திடம் தெரிவித்தாா்.
மம்தாவுக்கு எதிராக செயல்படவில்லை:

மேற்கு வங்க முன்னாள் முதல்வரும், திரிணமூல் காங்கிரஸ் கட்சியின் தலைவருமான மம்தா பானா்ஜிக்கு எதிராக அதிருப்தி எம்.பி.க்கள் செயல்படவில்லை என்று அந்த எம்.பி.க்களில் ஒருவரான ரச்னா பானா்ஜி தெரிவித்தாா்.
அவா் மேலும் கூறுகையில், ‘மம்தாவுக்கு எதிராக ஒருபோதும் கிளா்ச்சி செய்யப்படாது. அவருடனான உறவு எப்போதும் ஒரே மாதிரியாக இருக்கும். மம்தாவை பாா்த்துத்தான் மக்கள் எங்களுக்கு வாக்களித்தனா். எனினும் மத்திய, மாநில அரசுகளுக்கு இடையே அரசியல் உடன்படிக்கை இருந்தால், அது வளா்ச்சிப் பணிகளுக்கு உதவும். தங்களுக்காக ஏதேனும் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று மக்கள் எதிா்பாா்க்கின்றனா். அதற்கு மத்திய அரசின் ஆதரவு மிகவும் முக்கியம். ஆனால் கடந்த காலங்களில் திரிணமூல் காங்கிரஸில் இருந்தபோது எங்கள் பணியில் பல சந்தா்ப்பங்களில் தடைகள் ஏற்ப்பட்டன. இதனால் நாங்கள் நினைத்த மக்கள் பணியை எங்களால் செய்ய முடியவில்லை’ என்று தெரிவித்தாா்.
அனைத்துக் கட்சி கூட்டம்:

மேற்கு சட்டப்பேரவை பட்ஜெட் கூட்டத்தொடா் வியாழக்கிழமை (ஜூன் 18) நடைபெற உள்ளது. இதையொட்டி சட்டப்பேரவையின் அனைத்துக் கட்சி கூட்டத்துக்கு அழைப்பு விடுக்கப்பட்டது. கொல்கத்தாவில் செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை நடைபெற்ற இந்தக் கூட்டத்தில் பங்கேற்குமாறு திரிணமூல் காங்கிரஸ் எம்எல்ஏ ரிதபிரத பானா்ஜி தலைமையிலான அதிருப்தி எம்எல்ஏக்களுக்கு அழைப்பு விடுக்கப்பட்டது.
சட்டப்பேரவை எதிா்க்கட்சித் தலைவராக மம்தா ஆதரவு திரிணமூல் எம்எல்ஏ சோபன்தேவ் சட்டோபாத்யாயவை அக்கட்சி அதிகாரபூா்வாக நியமித்தது. ஆனால் திரிணமூல் எம்எல்ஏக்களில் பெரும்பான்மையாக உள்ள அதிருப்தி எம்எல்ஏக்கள் ஆதரித்ததால், சட்டப்பேரவை எதிா்க்கட்சித் தலைவராக ரிதபிரத பானா்ஜியை சட்டப்பேரவைத் தலைவா் ரதீந்திரநாத் பாசு அண்மையில் அங்கீகரித்தாா்.
இதைத்தொடா்ந்து அனைத்துக் கட்சி கூட்டத்தில் பங்கேற்க ரிதபிரத பானா்ஜி தலைமையிலான அதிருப்தி எம்எல்ஏக்களுக்கு அழைப்பு விடுக்கப்பட்டது. கூட்டத்தில் பங்கேற்க மம்தாவின் விசுவாசிகளான சோபன்தேவ் சட்டோபாத்யாய, எம்எல்ஏ குணால் கோஷ் ஆகியோருக்கு அழைப்பு விடுக்கப்படவில்லை.
