There are a total of 10 assembly constituencies in the Coimbatore district. The vote counting for these constituencies is taking place actively from 8 AM today at the Government Polytechnic College on Coimbatore Road. In this, the DMK candidates are leading in most constituencies. In the Valparai constituency, Sudhakar is contesting for DMK, Lakshmanan Singh for AIADMK, Sridharan for T.V.K., and Umadevi for N.D.K. There is a tough contest between DMK and T.V.K. Both parties are alternately taking the lead. However, AIADMK is also fighting persistently. According to the results of the 11th round in this constituency, DMK candidate Sudhakar has secured 31,111 votes, and T.V.K.
Candidate Sridharan received 30,998 votes, and the AIADMK candidate received 30,743 votes. With a margin of just 113 votes, the DMK candidate Sudhakar is leading. வெறும் 113 வாக்குகள் வித்தியாசத்தில் தி.மு.க. வேட்பாளர் சுதாகர் முன்னிலை வகிக்கிறார். இதனால் வெற்றி பெறுவது யார் என்பதில் கடும் போட்டி நிலவி வருகிறது.
