As part of the Congress party’s campaign on issues such as question paper leaks and youth welfare, Rahul Gandhi will interact with students in Kota, Rajasthan, this evening (June 17).
This event, to be held at an open-air venue in Kota,
is being projected by Congress as the first in a series of nationwide student conventions.
The campaign mainly aims to highlight the challenges faced by young people, especially issues such as complaints of question paper leaks, rising examination fees, and the government’s failure to ensure a fair and transparent recruitment and education system.
In this event, the Congress has accused the BJP of trying to prevent students from participating. The party also said that calls were made from the office of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla in Kota to operators of coaching centers, hostels, and guest houses, instructing them to ensure that no student from their institutions takes part in the event.
