The war between America and Iran, which had recently subsided, has flared up again. Both countries are continuing to carry out attacks in the Strait of Hormuz region in Iran.
The U.S. Navy attacked and sank 5 tanker ships linked to Iran using missiles. Angered by this, Iran has also been continuously attacking ships in the Strait of Hormuz. In a move that further intensifies its conflict with the United States, Iran said it attacked more than ten ships near the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday and has expanded the newly declared 'no-go zone' beyond the Hormuz waterway.
For the first time, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has expanded the restricted zone in parts of the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea. The force’s spokesperson, Hossein Mohajebi, warned that ships entering this area in violation of the rules will be subject to action.

According to Iranian state media, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said it attacked two American ships that tried to pass through the area, eight oil-carrying vessels, and 10 ships that did not comply with Iran’s orders.

Because U.S. Navy personnel had sunk five of Iran’s tankers, Iran carried out a swift attack on the U.S. naval base operating at Muwaffaq Salti in Jordan. In response, U.S. forces in Jordan launched more than 30 Patriot missiles to counter the Iranian attacks.
During the Iranian attack on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, an A-10 Thunderbolt aircraft, known as the "Warthog," was hit and one of its wings was damaged; meanwhile, about eight F-15 aircraft reportedly sustained minor damage but were later returned to service.
As the conflict has escalated again, crude oil prices in the international market have crossed $100. President Donald Trump’s advisers have warned him that this war could continue until 2029. They conveyed this while Donald Trump was consulting with his advisers. With the conflict with Iran entering its seventh month, U.S. President Donald Trump has said that Iran can no longer withstand it, and that the war will come to an immediate end after the U.S. midterm elections scheduled for November.

Speaking to reporters before departing for the Republican National Convention to be held in Dallas, Trump said the war would end immediately after the election because Iran can no longer hold out.
Trump also accused Iran of trying to use its influence in the November election so that a weak group would be elected, allowing Iran to be left alone and permitted to develop nuclear weapons. With discontent growing among American voters over war and the deepening cost-of-living crisis, the midterm elections due to be held on November 3 are expected to be a major test for the Trump administration.!
