இஸ்லாமியர்கள் அதிகமுள்ள மாவட்டங்களில் தமிழக வெற்றிக் கழகம் வெற்றிபெறமுடியவில்லை என்பதே உண்மை. தவெக தேர்தல் அறிக்கையில் கொடுத்த ஒரு வாக்குறுதி கூட இதுவரை நிறைவேற்றவில்லை. அழுத்தம் கொடுத்த காரணத்தால் மட்டுமே கடந்த திமுக அரசு கொண்டுவந்த ரூ.1,000 மகளிர் உரிமைத் தொகை கிடைக்கிறது. டெல்டா மாவட்டங்களில் விவசாயிகளுக்கு மும்முனை மின்சாரம் வழங்கப்படாத காரணத்தால் விவசாயிகள் கண்ணீர் வடித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர் ஆகவே குறுவை சாகுபடி செய்வதற்கு ஏற்ப உரிய நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டுமென்று விவசாயிகள் கோரிக்கை வைக்கின்றனர்” என்றார்.
