The Israeli company Meprolight said on Monday that the Indian Army has selected Mepro X6 telescopic sights for NG7 machine guns.
Designed for use on assault rifles, light machine guns, and other weapon systems, these telescopic sights offer precision, durability, and high-quality optical performance.
In a press release issued by Meprolight regarding this, it said, ‘Meprolight has signed an agreement with RRP Defense to enhance local production and carry out technology transfers for manufacturing the Mepro X6 telescope under the Make in India initiative.
Accordingly, RRP will manufacture the telescope devices locally and supply them to Bharat Electronics. Bharat Electronics will act as the contractor for the Indian Army in this project. It was stated that these telescopes will be highly useful for accurately targeting and striking targets according to the environment.’
