As part of an interim trade agreement between the United States and Iran, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance has firmly denied reports that America will provide Iran with $300 billion as reconstruction funding.

In response to that question, he said, “The report that Iran is to be given 300 billion US dollars as reconstruction funds is not true. Instead, we have a plan that would allow other countries to invest in Iran if Iran properly adheres to the terms of the agreement between the two countries.
If Iran complies with the rules regarding its nuclear and regional activities, the economic sanctions on that Islamic Republic will be lifted, making it possible to encourage investment and facilitate the flow of capital into the country.
