It has been announced that eligible persons may apply for trustee positions in 214 temples under the control of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department.
In this regard, a government announcement stated: Under the guidance of Chief Minister S. Joseph Vijay and Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Minister C. Ramesh, applications are invited from eligible persons for the appointment of non-hereditary trustees for 214 temples.
Details of the temples to be appointed, qualifications, and the application form have been published on the website. Applications can be filled out online and submitted along with the required documents. Otherwise, they can be uploaded on the website itself.
Alternatively, applications along with the required documents may be submitted in person or sent by speed post to the respective Regional Joint Commissioner’s office. It has been stated that applications must be submitted by 5:45 p.m. on July 22.
