The Railway Ministry has denied Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s allegation that a young man died at Bihar’s Patliputra railway station.
With the police recruitment exam announced in Bihar, many candidates rushed to the Patna and Patliputra railway stations at the same time to take the exam, causing tension in those areas.
Meanwhile, a video went viral on social media showing that a young man trapped in the crowd inside a train suffered a seizure and died.
Following this, opposition leaders, including Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, accused the central government of negligence, saying that a young man had died because of the central government’s apathy.
In this context, the Ministry of Railways has denied that the video circulating on social media claiming that the young man died is fake, and stated that no such incident occurred at Patliputra railway station.
It has also issued a warning not to spread fake news.
