If it is one speech inside the Assembly and heroic rhetoric outside, then who wrote that line for him? People should think about the political strategy, political ugliness, and complaints behind this. But just because emotional people were the reason this government came into being, the Chief Minister should not also go down the same emotional path. Stalin stood up for the oppressed and backward communities even when it meant that the government itself could be dissolved if the Constitution was violated. We are the ones who stood against and blocked the three-language policy, delimitation, and the National Education Policy. Even if we suffer losses of 2,500 crore or 10,000 crore, do you call the force that stood firm saying it will not surrender state rights to Modi a “worn-out force”? Vijay, who delivered lines saying, “We oppose fascism, and we oppose payasam too,” where has your courage gone when it comes to opposing fascism? When Governor R.N. Ravi asked your minister about the image of Thiruvalluvar dressed in saffron, they say, “Let’s not talk about that now.”

You, who lack the courage to question those who demean our identity, are speaking at us. You say you do not see caste or religion. But while keeping one religion on your hand and another on your forehead, when taking office you say, “I, Joseph Vijay.” Isn’t this a bundle of contradictions? Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar openly says, “As long as the DMK and Stalin are there, they are our problem; there is no longer any problem for us in building the Mekedatu dam. The government in Tamil Nadu runs only because of our goodwill.” Has Chief Minister Vijay or any of his ministers responded to this?

In the election manifesto, you said that agricultural loans would be completely waived. We said we would not criticize your administration for six months. But that does not mean we can remain silent and not question the daily murders, robberies, and sexual assaults.
Financial constraints are not the reason for the law and order problem. The power to change the police force, the guns, and the officers is entirely in your hands. Then why are you asking for time? Why have you not been able to properly manage the intelligence department? After coming to power, you signed off on a scheme called “Singa Pen.” During the periods of Karunanidhi and M.K. Stalin, whenever they signed off on a scheme, they would first discuss with the Finance Department what the corresponding financial allocation would be and decide only after that. But what is the budget allocation for the “Singa Pen” scheme? Is it enough to appoint just one IG and change the name? In how many districts has this police force been formed? How many vehicles have been purchased? Why has this scheme still not been fully launched? When all this is asked, what is wrong with calling you incapable?
You speak only for the sake of applause and to stir emotions. Next, you blame the DMK for the power shortage. We have a track record, going back to the Jayalalithaa era, of how much additional electricity Tamil Nadu needs every year in the summer months of April and May. A government should plan this in advance and procure and distribute electricity even if it has to pay a higher price. Lacking the ability to do that, you shift the blame and say that if the power goes out, Stalin and the DMK are the reason. People are lamenting, “Honorable Vijay bro, we are truly scared; we don’t even know where Tamil Nadu is headed.”
He says, “I am the only leader, I am the only hope.” I acknowledge that you won and formed the government through a parliamentary democratic system. But the votes you received were only 35%. Sixty-five percent of the people of Tamil Nadu have rejected you and said they do not want you. Therefore, you have no authority to say, “I am the leader.” Among those 65% who rejected you, make efforts to attract at least 10 to 15% of the people to your side. Instead of that, I kindly request you not to keep blaming us or our leader all the time, speaking with sarcasm and mockery, and thereby diminish the dignity of the Chief Minister’s chair you are occupying.
It is strange that Chief Minister Vijay, after forming a government with a wafer-thin majority, is speaking in Tiruchi with hand gestures as if he had won an outright majority. But in the Assembly, he hides behind his papers, unable to answer the questions raised by Opposition Leader Udhayanidhi Stalin. Journalists should compare and explain to the public these two different body languages and tones of voice. Accountability is important for a Chief Minister. But he lives in a fantasy world, resorting to cheap sarcasm and mockery for everything.
There is strong internal democracy in the DMK. We had the right to discuss with leader M.K. Stalin himself about voting in the Assembly against the new government. But TVK members went directly to the homes of parties like the AIADMK, which they had criticized, begged and performed to win their support, and are now boasting about it. அதற்குப் பிறகு, முதலமைச்சர் விஜய் டெல்லிக்குச் சென்று பிரதமரைச் சந்தித்தார். அங்கு அசாம், மேற்கு வங்கம், கேரளா ஆகிய மாநிலங்களின் முதலமைச்சர்களைப் பிரதமர் ஏறத்தாழ 40 முதல் 50 நிமிடங்கள் வரை சந்தித்த நிலையில், என்ன காரணத்தினாலோ தமிழ்நாட்டின் முதலமைச்சருக்கு வெறும் 10 நிமிடங்கள் மட்டுமே ஒதுக்கப்பட்டது. அவரும் நிர்மலா சீதாராமனைத் தவிர வேறு யாரையும் சந்திக்காமல் உடனடியாகத் தமிழ்நாடு திரும்பினார்.
மக்களால் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட முதலமைச்சராகத் தொகுதி மக்களுக்கு நன்றி சொல்வதற்காகத் திருச்சிக்குச் சென்றவர், அங்கு 18 நிமிடங்கள் பேசியிருக்கிறார். அரசியல் சட்டத்தில் நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ள ஓர் உயரிய நாற்காலியில் அமர்ந்திருக்கும் ஒருவர் கடைப்பிடிக்க வேண்டிய ‘அரசியல் சட்டம் சார்ந்த ஒழுக்கம்’ மற்றும் பொறுப்புக்கூறல் என எதுவுமே இல்லாமல், தான் வகிக்கும் பதவிக்குத் தகுதியற்றவராகத் தனது தகுதியைக் குறைத்துக் கொண்டு அவர் பிதற்றியிருக்கிறார், வீரவசனம் பேசியிருக்கிறார்.
சட்டமன்றத்திற்குள் பதிலுரை ஆற்றிய முதல்வர் விஜய்யின் குரலில் இருந்த தளர்வு, சோர்வு, தயக்கம், மயக்கம் மற்றும் இயலாமையையும், திருச்சியில் அவர் உரையாற்றிய போது எள்ளலும் துள்ளலுமாக, கர்ஜிப்பதாக நினைத்துக் கொண்டு கத்திப் பேசிய பேச்சையும் மக்கள் ஒப்பிட்டுப் பார்க்க வேண்டும்.
சட்டமன்றத்திற்குள் ஒரு பேச்சு, வெளியே வீரவசனம் என்றால், அந்த வசனத்தை அவருக்கு எழுதிக்கொடுத்தது யார்? இதன் பின்னணியில் இருக்கின்ற அரசியல் தந்திரம், அரசியல் அசிங்கம் மற்றும் புலம்பல்கள் என்ன என்பதை மக்கள் எண்ணிப் பார்க்க வேண்டும். ஒவ்வொரு வரியிலும் தி.மு.க-வையும், ‘ஸ்டாலின் சார்’ என்றும் குறை சொல்வதே அவருக்குப் பணியாக இருக்கிறது. ‘தி.மு.க-வுக்கும் த.வெ.க-வுக்கும் தான் போட்டி, மற்றவர்கள் எல்லாம் அள்ளு சில்லு’ என்று முதலமைச்சர் பேசியிருக்கிறார்.
அப்படி அள்ளு சில்லு என்று அ.தி.மு.க உள்ளிட்ட பிற கட்சிகளை விமர்சித்த முதலமைச்சரே, நீங்கள் அதே ‘அள்ளு சில்லு’களின் வீட்டிற்கு நேரடியாகச் சென்று, சால்வை போர்த்தி, அவர்களிடம் கெஞ்சிக் கூத்தாடித் தானே சீட்டுகளை வாங்கினீர்கள்? இது தில்லுமுல்லு அரசியல் இல்லையா, அரசியல் அநாகரிகம் இல்லையா? என்பதைத் தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்கள் தெரிந்துகொள்ள வேண்டும்.
ஒரு முதலமைச்சருக்குத் தர வேண்டிய மரியாதையைத் தர எங்களது தலைவரும் நாங்களும் தயாராக இருக்கிறோம். ஆனால், உணர்ச்சிவசப்பட்ட மக்கள் இந்த ஆட்சியை உருவாக்கக் காரணமாக இருந்திருக்கிறார்கள் என்பதற்காக, முதலமைச்சரும் அதே உணர்ச்சிவசப்பட்ட பாதையில் செல்லக் கூடாது. தி.மு.க-வை விமர்சிப்பதில் தவறில்லை, அதற்கு ஒரு ஐந்து நிமிடம் எடுத்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள். ஆனால், மீதி 10 நிமிடங்கள் ‘பிரதமரைச் சந்தித்தேன், இந்த மனுவை அளித்திருக்கிறேன், தமிழகத்திற்காக இதைச் செய்யப் போகிறேன்’ என்று எதையாவது உருப்படியாகச் சொல்லியிருக்கிறீர்களா? ‘கவர்ச்சி அரசியல்’ என்ற வார்த்தையைப் பயன்படுத்தினால் கோபம் வருகிறது.
சினிமா நடிகர்களின் கவர்ச்சி அரசியலிலிருந்து வெளியே வருமாறு தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்களைக் கேட்டுக் கொள்ள மற்ற கட்சிகளுக்கு உரிமை இல்லையா? ‘பிரதர் விஜய், புரோ விஜய்’ என்று நாங்களும் கேட்கிறோம். நீங்கள் யாரைப் பார்த்து தீய சக்தி, தூர சக்தி, கோர சக்தி என்று குறை சொல்கிறீர்கள்? பாராளுமன்றத்தில் பொருளாதாரத்தில் நலிவடைந்தோருக்கான 10% இட ஒதுக்கீடு (EWS) கொண்டு வரப்பட்ட போது, ‘அதைத் தமிழ்நாட்டிற்குள் அனுமதிக்க மாட்டோம்’ என்று தைரியமாக நின்றவர் ஸ்டாலின். தமிழ் தாய் வாழ்த்து விவகாரத்தில் நீங்கள் வெறும் அரசாணைக்காகக் (GO) கெஞ்சிக் கூத்தாடுகிறீர்கள்.
அரசியல் சட்டம் மீறப்பட்டால் ஆட்சியையே கலைக்கலாம் என்ற நிலையிலும் தாழ்த்தப்பட்ட, பிற்படுத்தப்பட்ட மக்களுக்காக நின்றவர் ஸ்டாலின். மும்மொழி கொள்கை, தொகுதி மறுவரையறை, தேசிய கல்வி கொள்கை போன்றவற்றை எதிர்த்து நின்று தடுத்தவர்கள் நாங்கள். 2,500 கோடியோ, 10,000 கோடியோ நஷ்டப்பட்டாலும் மாநில உரிமைகளை மோடியிடம் விட்டுக் கொடுக்க மாட்டோம் என்று நின்ற சக்தியைப் பார்த்து ‘தூர்ந்து போன சக்தி’ என்கிறீர்களா? ‘பாசிசத்தையும் எதிர்க்கிறோம், பாயசத்தையும் எதிர்க்கிறோம்’ என்று வசனம் பேசிய விஜய் அவர்களே, பாசிசத்தை எதிர்ப்பதில் உங்களது வீரம் எங்கே போனது? ஆளுநர் ஆர்.என்.ரவி, திருவள்ளுவருக்குக் காவி உடை அணிவித்த படம் குறித்து உங்களது அமைச்சரிடம் கேட்டபோது, ‘அதைப் பற்றி இப்போது பேச வேண்டாம்’ என்கிறார்கள்.
திருவள்ளுவர் நம் இனத்தின், மொழியின், கலாசாரத்தின் அடையாளம். பிறப்பொக்கும் எல்லா உயிர்க்கும் என்று எம்பலம் போட்டுக் கொண்டால் மட்டும் போதாது. நம் அடையாளத்தை இழிவுபடுத்துபவர்களைக் கேள்வி கேட்கத் துப்பில்லாத நீங்கள், எங்களைப் பார்த்துப் பேசுகிறீர்கள். நீங்கள் சாதி, மதம் பார்க்கவில்லை என்கிறீர்கள். ஆனால், கையில் ஒரு மதம், நெற்றியில் ஒரு மதம் என வைத்துக் கொண்டு, பதவி ஏற்கும் போது ‘ஜோசப் விஜய் என்னும் நான்’ என்று கூறுகிறீர்கள். இது முழு முரண்பாடுகளின் மூட்டை இல்லையா? கர்நாடக துணை முதல்வர் டி.கே.சிவகுமார், ‘தி.மு.க-வும் ஸ்டாலினும் இருக்கும் வரை தான் எங்களுக்குப் பிரச்னை, மேகதாது அணை கட்டுவதில் இனி எங்களுக்குப் பிரச்னை இல்லை. எங்கள் தயவில் தான் தமிழகத்தில் ஆட்சி நடக்கிறது’ என்று பகிரங்கமாகக் கூறுகிறார். இதற்கு முதலமைச்சர் விஜய் அல்லது அவரது அமைச்சர்கள் யாராவது எதிர்வினை ஆற்றியிருக்கிறீர்களா?
அதேபோல், ‘விவசாய மகனாகப் பிறக்காததற்கு வருத்தப்படுகிறேன்’ என்று பச்சைத் துண்டு போட்டுப் பேசிய முதலமைச்சரே, இன்றைக்குத் தமிழ்நாட்டில் விவசாயிகள் தங்களை பிணமாக நினைத்துப் போராடிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். தேர்தல் அறிக்கையில் விவசாயக் கடன்களை முழுமையாகத் தள்ளுபடி செய்வோம் என்று கூறினீர்கள். ரிசர்வ் வங்கியின் (RBI) 2025-ம் ஆண்டு வழிகாட்டுதல்களின்படி அவ்வாறு செய்ய முடியாது என்ற சட்டம் இருப்பது கூடத் தெரியாமல், 2026-ல் தேர்தல் அறிக்கை தயாரித்த உங்களை மெத்தப் படித்தவர்கள் என்பதா, ஞானிகள் என்பதா? நாங்கள் ஆறு மாதம் உங்கள் நிர்வாகத்தை விமர்சிக்க மாட்டோம் என்று கூறினோம். அதற்காகத் தினசரி நடக்கும் கொலை, கொள்ளை, பாலியல் வன்கொடுமைகளைக் கண்டு கேள்வி கேட்காமல் இருக்க முடியாது.
சட்டம் ஒழுங்கு பிரச்னைக்கு நிதி நிலைமை காரணமல்ல. காவல்துறை, துப்பாக்கி, அதிகாரிகளை மாற்றும் அதிகாரம் அனைத்தும் உங்கள் கையில் தான் உள்ளது. அதற்கு ஏன் கால அவகாசம் கேட்கிறீர்கள்? உளவுத்துறையைச் சரியாக வைத்திருக்க உங்களால் ஏன் முடியவில்லை? ஆட்சிக்கு வந்ததும் ‘சிங்கப் பெண்’ என்ற திட்டத்தில் கையெழுத்திட்டீர்கள். கலைஞர் காலகட்டத்திலும், மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் காலகட்டத்திலும் ஒரு திட்டத்தில் கையெழுத்திடும் போது, அதற்குரிய நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு என்ன என்பதை நிதித்துறையோடு பேசி, முடிவு செய்த பிறகே கையெழுத்திடுவார்கள். ஆனால், ‘சிங்கப் பெண்’ திட்டத்திற்கு பட்ஜெட் ஒதுக்கீடு என்ன? ஒரு ஐ.ஜியை மட்டும் நியமித்து, பெயரை மாற்றினால் போதுமா? எத்தனை மாவட்டங்களில் இந்த போலீஸ் படை உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது? எத்தனை வாகனங்கள் வாங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன? ஏன் இந்தத் திட்டத்தை இன்னும் முழுமையாகத் தொடங்கவில்லை? இதையெல்லாம் கேட்கும்போது உங்களை இயலாதவர்கள் என்று சொல்வதில் என்ன தவறு?
வெறும் கைதட்டலுக்காகவும், உணர்ச்சியைத் தூண்டுவதற்காகவும் மட்டுமே பேசுகிறீர்கள். அடுத்ததாக, மின்சாரத் தட்டுப்பாட்டிற்குத் தி.மு.க மீது பழி போடுகிறீர்கள். கோடைக் காலத்தில் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஏப்ரல், மே மாதங்களில் தமிழ்நாட்டில் எவ்வளவு கூடுதல் மின்சாரம் தேவைப்படும் என்ற ட்ராக் ரெக்கார்ட் ஜெயலலிதா காலம் முதற்கொண்டு எங்களிடம் உள்ளது. ஒரு அரசு முன்கூட்டியே இதனைத் திட்டமிட்டு, கூடுதல் விலை கொடுத்தாவது மின்சாரத்தைப் பெற்று விநியோகிக்க வேண்டும். அதைச் செய்யத் துப்பில்லாமல், கரண்ட் போனால் அதற்கு ஸ்டாலினும் தி.மு.க-வும் தான் காரணம் என்று பழியைக் தூக்கிப் போடுகிறீர்கள். ‘ஆனரபிள் விஜய் புரோ, உண்மையில் எங்களுக்குப் பயமாக இருக்கிறது, தமிழகம் எங்கே போகிறது என்றே தெரியவில்லை’ என்று மக்கள் புலம்புகிறார்கள்.
‘ஒரே தலைவர், ஒரே நம்பிக்கை நான் தான்’ என்று பேசுகிறார். பாராளுமன்ற ஜனநாயக முறையில் நீங்கள் வெற்றி பெற்று ஆட்சி அமைத்ததை நான் ஒப்புக்கொள்கிறேன். ஆனால், உங்களுக்கு விழுந்த வாக்குகள் வெறும் 35% மட்டுமே. தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்கள் 65% பேர் உங்களை வேண்டாம் என்று தான் நிராகரித்திருக்கிறார்கள். எனவே, ‘நான் தான் தலைவன்’ என்று சொல்ல உங்களுக்கு எந்த அதிகாரமும் இல்லை. உங்களை நிராகரித்த அந்த 65% மக்களில், ஒரு 10 முதல் 15% மக்களையாவது உங்கள் பக்கம் ஈர்ப்பதற்கான முயற்சிகளைச் செய்யுங்கள். அதை விடுத்து, எங்களையோ, எங்கள் தலைவரையோ எப்போதும் குறை சொல்லிக் கொண்டு, நக்கல் நையாண்டி பேசி, நீங்கள் அமர்ந்திருக்கும் முதலமைச்சர் நாற்காலியின் தகுதியைக் குறைத்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டாம் என்று உங்களை அன்போடு கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்.
நூலிழை பெரும்பான்மையில் ஆட்சி அமைத்துவிட்டு, தனித்து பெரும்பான்மை பெற்றது போல் முதலமைச்சர் விஜய் திருச்சியில் கைகளை ஆட்டிப் பேசுவது விந்தையாக உள்ளது. ஆனால், சட்டமன்றத்தில் எதிர்க்கட்சித் தலைவர் உதயநிதி ஸ்டாலின் எழுப்பிய கேள்விகளுக்குப் பதிலளிக்க முடியாமல் பேப்பரைப் பார்த்து பதுங்குகிறார். அவரது இந்த இரு வேறு உடல்மொழிகளையும், குரல் தொனியையும் பத்திரிகையாளர்கள் ஒப்பிட்டு மக்களுக்கு விளக்க வேண்டும். முதலமைச்சருக்குப் பொறுப்புக்கூறல் முக்கியம். ஆனால் அவர் எதற்கெடுத்தாலும் தரம் குறைந்த நக்கல், நையாண்டி செய்து ஒரு கற்பனை உலகில் வாழ்கிறார்.
தி.மு.க-வில் கடுமையான உட்கட்சி ஜனநாயகம் இருக்கிறது. புதிய அரசுக்கு எதிராகச் சட்டமன்றத்தில் வாக்களிப்பது தொடர்பாக தலைவர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலினிடமே விவாதிக்கும் உரிமை எங்களுக்கு இருந்தது. ஆனால், த.வெ.க-வினர் தாங்கள் விமர்சித்த அ.தி.மு.க போன்ற கட்சிகளின் வீடுகளுக்கே நேரடியாகச் சென்று, கெஞ்சிக் கூத்தாடி ஆதரவு பெற்றுவிட்டு இப்போது பெருமை பேசுகிறார்கள். கொள்கை ரீதியான பிணைப்பு கொண்ட சிபிஎம், சிபிஐ போன்ற இடதுசாரிகள் விலகும்போது கோபம் மற்றும் வருத்தம் வருவது இயற்கை. இது ஒரு ‘சகோதர முரண்பாடு’ தான், இதில் நிரந்தரப் பகை ஏதுமில்லை. மீண்டும் இணைவோம். ஜனநாயகத்தைக் காக்கும் கடைசிப் புகலிடம் பத்திரிகை துறைதான் என்று அம்பேத்கரே கூறியுள்ளார். அவ்வளவு முக்கியத்துவம் வாய்ந்த பத்திரிகையாளர்களைச் சந்திக்க முதலமைச்சருக்குத் தைரியம் இல்லை.
த.வெ.க-வில் இணையும் அ.தி.மு.க எம்.எல்.ஏ ஒரு பெரிய ஒப்பந்ததாரர். தற்போதைய அரசின் தயவு இல்லாமல் அவரது பிசினஸ் ஓடாது என்ற சுயநலத்திற்காகவே அவர் கட்சி மாறுகிறார். இதை த.வெ.க-வின் ‘செல்வாக்கு’ என்று சொல்ல முடியாது. தமிழ்நாடு 70 டாஸ்மாக் கடைகளை மூடிவிட்டதாக இந்த அரசு பொய் விளம்பரம் செய்கிறது. ஆனால், அந்த இடங்களுக்கு அருகிலேயே ‘மனமகிழ் மன்றம்’ என்ற பெயரில் மது விற்பனை ஜோராக நடக்கிறது. தி.மு.க ஆட்சியில் ஆதாரத்தோடு 500 கடைகள் மூடப்பட்டன. என்ன சூழ்ச்சி நடக்கிறது என்று தெளிவாக விளக்காமல், பொதுப்படையாக ‘சூழ்ச்சி செய்கிறார்கள்’ என்று பேசுவது இருட்டில் நின்றுகொண்டு ‘பேய் வருது’ என்று பயமுறுத்துவதற்குச் சமம். இது தைரியமில்லாதவர்களின் பேச்சு.” எனக் காட்டமாக விமர்சித்திருக்கிறார்.
