கடந்த ஏப்ரல் 9, ஏப்ரல் 23, ஏப்ரல் 29 என மூன்று தேதிகளில் வாக்குப்பதிவு நடத்தப்பட்டது. இதில் புதுச்சேரி, கேரளா, அஸ்ஸாம் ஆகிய மாநிலங்களில் ஏப்ரல் 9ஆம் தேதி தேர்தல் நடந்து முடிந்தது.
தமிழ்நாடு சட்டமன்றத் தேர்தல் கடந்த 23ஆம் தேதி ஒரே கட்டமாக நடந்து முடிந்தது. தவிர இரண்டு கட்டங்களாக வாக்குப் பதிவு நடக்கும் மேற்குவங்கம் மாநிலத்திற்கு முதற்கட்ட வாக்குப் பதிவு கடந்த 23ஆம் தேதி முடிவடைந்த நிலையில், இரண்டாம் கட்ட வாக்குப் பதிவு இன்று (ஏப்ரல் 29) நடைபெறுகிறது.
