2026 தமிழ்நாடு சட்டமன்றத்திற்கான தேர்தல் 234 தொகுதிகளிலும் விறுவிறுப்பாக நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. இன்று காலை 7 மணிக்குத் தொடங்கி மாலை 6 மணி வரை நடைபெற இருக்கும் வாக்குப்பதிவில் மக்கள் ஆர்வத்துடன் பங்கேற்று தங்கள் தொகுதிக்கான சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினர்களைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து வருகின்றனர்.

கடந்த 2024- ம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் மாதம் தமிழ்நாடு தலைமை தேர்தல் அதிகாரியாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்.
இதன்மூலம் தமிழ்நாட்டின் முதல் பெண் தேர்தல் தலைமை அதிகாரி என்கிற சிறப்புடன் தேர்தலை நடத்தி வருகிறார். தமிழ்நாடு முழுவதிலும் பதற்றமான வாக்குப்பதிவு மையங்களைக் கண்டறிந்து, சட்ட ஒழுங்கு பிரச்னைகள் எழாமல் தேர்தலை நடத்த கூடுதல் கவனம் செலுத்தியவர் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
