“We have a duty to politicize the next generation, and talk politics at home,” said DMK deputy general secretary Kanimozhi.
Speaking at a DMK women’s wing event at Anna Arivalayam in Chennai, she said,
“We talk about so many things at home. We have forgotten to explain the changes happening in our homes to our children. Talk politics at home. We must get the next generation to talk politics.
Social media and reels are important. But talk politics with the people at home and with relatives. We have a duty to politicize this society and the next generation. Let us talk politics with everyone.
We must talk about how the achievements we have made over these 60 years have brought about such great changes in this society.
So many people have received education and jobs, and women are free. Only when we teach the struggles that have taken place over all these years will the next generation grow into one that can make the right decisions. All DMK members are like family. Especially when the DMK is in opposition, that bond grows even deeper," he said.

அடுத்த தலைமுறையை அரசியல்படுத்த வேண்டிய கடமை நம்மிடம் இருக்கிறது என்றும் வீட்டில் அரசியல் பேசுங்கள் என திமுக துணை பொதுச்செயலாளர் கனிமொழி பேசினார்.
சென்னை அண்ணா அறிவாலயத்தில் திமுக மகளிரணி நிகழ்வில் பேசிய அவர்,
“நாம் வீட்டில் எவ்வளவோ விஷயங்களைப் பேசுகிறோம். நம் வீட்டில் நடக்கும் மாற்றங்களை நம் பிள்ளைகளுக்குச் சொல்லித்தர மறந்துவிட்டோம். வீட்டில் அரசியல் பேசுங்கள். அடுத்த தலைமுறையை அரசியல் பேச வைக்க வேண்டும்.
சமூக ஊடகம், ரீல்ஸ் முக்கியம்தான். ஆனால் வீட்டில் உள்ளவர்கள், உறவினர்களுடன் அரசியல் பேசுங்கள். இந்த சமூகத்தை, அடுத்த தலைமுறையை அரசியல்படுத்த வேண்டிய கடமை நம்மிடம் உள்ளது. அனைவரிடமும் அரசியல் பேசுவோம்.
இந்த 60 ஆண்டு காலம் நாம் செய்திருக்கிற சாதனைகள் இந்த சமுகத்தில் எவ்வளவு பெரிய மாற்றங்களைக் கொண்டு வந்திருக்கிறது என்று பேச வேண்டும்.
எத்தனை பேர் கல்வி, வேலை பெற்றிருக்கிறார்கள், பெண்கள் சுதந்திரமாக இருக்கிறார்கள். இத்தனை ஆண்டு காலம் நடந்த போராட்டங்களை சொல்லிக்கொடுக்கும்போதுதான் அடுத்த தலைமுறை சரியான முடிவை எடுக்கக்கூடிய தலைமுறையாக உருவாகும். திமுகவினர் அனைவரும் குடும்ப உறவு போன்றவர்கள். அதிலும் திமுக எதிர்க்கட்சியாக இருக்கும்போது இன்னும் ஆழமாக அந்த உறவு விரியும்” என்று பேசினார்.
