Indian player Shreyas Iyer has crossed 3,000 runs in One Day Internationals.
The second ODI between India and Afghanistan was played yesterday (June 17) in Lucknow. In this match, the Indian team registered a superb victory by 170 runs.
After India set Afghanistan a massive target of 403 runs, the opposition was bowled out for 232. In the Indian team, captain Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan smashed centuries and impressed. Shubman Gill scored 154 runs, while Ishan Kishan made 125 runs.

Shreyas Iyer, who has played 78 One Day Internationals for India so far, has scored 3,015 runs. This includes 23 half-centuries and 5 centuries. His highest score is 128.
By winning yesterday’s match, the Indian team clinched the three-match ODI series 2-0. The final ODI between the two teams will be played the day after tomorrow (June 20) at the Chepauk ground in Chennai.
