Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Odisha and West Bengal on Friday (June 20) on a two-day trip.
During that time, he will participate in the 12th International Yoga Day event to be held in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. International Yoga Day is celebrated every year on June 21.
In a press release issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) regarding the Prime Minister’s travel schedule, ‘On a two-day trip, Prime Minister Modi will visit Odisha and West Bengal on June 20 and 21.
First, he will visit the Santhali and Ho forest areas in Bahadpur village of Mayurbhanj district in Odisha with President Droupadi Murmu and offer prayers on Saturday (June 20).
After that, following the completion of two years of BJP rule in Odisha, both of them will take part in a ceremony in Rairangpur. There, he will inaugurate projects worth Rs. 47,600 crore for key sectors including energy, industrial infrastructure, and road connectivity.
From there, he will travel to West Bengal and participate in the state’s Foundation Day celebrations to be held in Hooghly district on Saturday. At that time, he will lay the foundation stone for various development projects, including railways, agriculture, rural development, fisheries and animal husbandry, and infrastructure.
PM-Kisan installment release:
Following this, he will release Rs. 18,800 crore as the 23rd installment under the PM-Kisan scheme for farmers. This amount will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of 9.44 crore farmers across the country. With this, Rs. 4.46 lakh crore has been provided to farmers since 2019.
Launch of new projects:
In this event, he will launch the Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme, the ‘Agri Stack’ project, which is part of the Digital Agriculture Mission, the National Mission on Natural Farming, and the scheme for crop production. He will also inaugurate the modern fishing harbour built in South 24 Parganas.
After that, he will participate in the Yoga Day event to be held in Kolkata on Sunday and dedicate to the nation three warships built indigenously at Kolkata Port: INS Dunagiri, INS Samshodhak, and INS Agray,’ it was stated.

அதைத் தொடா்ந்து பிஎம்-கிஸான் திட்டத்தின்கீழ் விவசாயிகளுக்கு 23-ஆவது தவணையாக ரூ.18,800 கோடி நிதியை அவா் விடுவிக்கவுள்ளாா். நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள 9.44 கோடி விவசாயிகளின் வங்கிக் கணக்குகளில் இந்தத் தொகை நேரடியாக பரிவா்த்தனை செய்யப்படவுள்ளது. இத்துடன் கடந்த 2019-ஆம் ஆண்டில் இருந்து ரூ.4.46 லட்சம் கோடி விவசாயிகளுக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் பிரதமரின் பயிா்க் காப்பீட்டுத் திட்டம், எண்ம வேளாண் இயக்கத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியான ‘அக்ரி ஸ்டாக்’ திட்டம், தேசிய இயற்கை வேளாண் இயக்கம் மற்றும் பயிா் உற்பத்திக்கான திட்டத்தை அவா் தொடங்கிவைக்கிறாா். தெற்கு 24 பா்காணாக்களில் கட்டப்பட்டுள்ள நவீன மீன்பிடி துறைமுகத்தையும் அவா் திறந்துவைக்கிறாா்.
அதன் பிறகு கொல்கத்தாவில் ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை நடைபெறும் யோகா தினத்தில் பங்கேற்கும் அவா் கொல்கத்தா துறைமுகத்தில் உள்நாட்டிலேயே தயாரிக்கப்பட்ட ஐஎன்எஸ் துனகிரி, ஐஎன்எஸ் சம்சோதக் மற்றும் ஐஎன்எஸ் அக்ரய் ஆகிய மூன்று போா்க்கப்பல்களை நாட்டுக்கு அா்ப்பணிக்கிறாா்’ எனத் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டது.
