U.S. President Donald Trump has said that the war with Iran will come to an end very soon.
As the U.S. war against Iran has resumed, President Trump also said that talks are under way on a peace agreement between the two sides.
Speaking to reporters at the White House about this,
“I think this will end soon. I don’t think they can hold out much longer,” he said.
He then spoke about the talks with Iran, saying, “I think we are doing well.”
However, the Iranian government has already announced that it has not held any negotiations with the United States and that discussions on the Strait of Hormuz issue are being held only with Oman.
Earlier, a peace agreement was signed between Iran and the United States last June. However, President Trump canceled the peace agreement, accusing Iranian forces of attacking commercial ships near the Strait of Hormuz.
As a result, with war having resumed between the two sides, it is noteworthy that Iranian forces have been targeting key infrastructure in Gulf countries in retaliation for U.S. attacks.
