Udhayanidhi would have said not to come to the Legislative Assembly: Minister Arunraj

Health Minister Arunraj criticized today (Aug. 4) that Opposition Leader Udhayanidhi Stalin had spoken at a public rally saying he should not come to the Legislative Assembly.

With the budget set to be presented in the Legislative Assembly for the first time after the TVK government took office, DMK members alleged that he was arrested in a hurry so that the Opposition Leader would not be present in the House. Minister Arunraj made this statement in response.

Speaking in Chennai on this matter, Arun Raj said:

“Udhayanidhi Stalin must have spoken thinking he should not come to the legislative assembly. Whoever commits crimes against women, the TVK government will not tolerate it.

Politics should be seen only as politics. Apart from that, women should not be viewed wrongly in the name of speaking about politics.

Precautionary measures are being taken in view of the monsoon. Discussions were held with officials regarding this.

Measures for protection against dengue, mosquito eradication, jaundice, diarrhea, and related issues were discussed,” he said.

''சட்டப்பேரவைக்கு வரக்கூடாது என நினைத்து உதயநிதி ஸ்டாலின் பேசியிருப்பார். பெண்களுக்கு எதிரான குற்றங்களை யார் செய்தாலும் தவெக அரசு பொறுத்துக்கொள்ளாது.

அரசியலை அரசியலாக மட்டுமே பார்க்க வேண்டும். அதை தவிர்த்து, அரசியல் பேசுகிறேன் என்ற பெயரில் பெண்களை தவறாகப் பார்க்ககூடாது.

பருவமழையையொட்டி முன்னெச்சரிக்கை நடவடிக்கைகள் எடுக்கப்பட்டு வருகின்றன. இது தொடர்பாக அதிகாரிகளுடன் ஆலோசனை நடத்தப்பட்டது.

டெங்கு, கொசு ஒழிப்பு, மஞ்சள் காமாலை, வயிற்றுப்போக்கு உள்ளிட்டவற்றின் தற்காப்பு நடவடிக்கைகள் குறித்து ஆலோசிக்கப்பட்டது'' எனக் குறிப்பிட்டார்.
