The Iranian government has said that a security agreement with Turkey and Pakistan will not provide security for Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed a trilateral security agreement among the three countries today (Aug. 7).
Accordingly, an attack on one country will be considered an attack on the other two countries as well, and it has been stated that the three countries have brought in this agreement to increase their security and military strength.
In this situation, Iranian parliament member Ebrahim Rezaei has said that Saudi Arabia’s security agreement with Turkey and Pakistan will not provide them security.
Regarding this, in a post he published on X,
“Saudi Arabia should realize that just as years of one-sided support to the United States did not bring security, a mere paper agreement with Turkey and Pakistan will also not provide them security.
Adjust your policies so that you do not end up having to beg others for security,” it said.
Previously, it is noteworthy that Iran shares borders by sea and land with three countries: Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan.
