When the moon comes between the sun and the earth, all of the sun’s light is blocked, and the sky darkens even during the day, creating an atmosphere like evening.
That is, when the huge sun is obscured by the smaller earth, only the sun’s outer atmosphere, the glowing ring called the ‘corona,’ appears as a white circle. This is what is described as a total solar eclipse.

The worrying news is that this total solar eclipse will not be visible anywhere in India. It cannot be seen. This is because, here, it will be nighttime when the solar eclipse occurs.
The complete path of this total solar eclipse passes through Greenland, Iceland, Spain, and parts of Portugal. In particular, since the eclipse will occur at sunset in northern Spain, the beautiful sight of the sun setting on the horizon is expected to attract travelers from around the world.
Moreover, tourists are traveling in large numbers to witness this astronomical wonder amid Iceland’s glaciers and volcanic landscapes, as well as Greenland’s Arctic ice regions.
Next year, a total solar eclipse will occur in August 2027. However, it is said that it will be visible only in North America, Spain, and Yemen.
