The schemes brought in under the DMK regime have merely been repackaged and introduced under different names today; even the proper funds for them have not been released in large measure.

The first budget of the TVK government has dashed the people’s expectations. None of TVK’s election promises have been included. TVK has given in the budget exactly what the DMK government had given,” he criticized.

திமுக ஆட்சியில் கொண்டுவந்த திட்டங்களுக்கு இன்று முலாம் பூசப்பட்டு வேறு பெயரில் கொண்டு வரப்பட்டு இருக்கிறதே ஒழிய, அதற்கான உரிய நிதியைக்கூட பெருமளவில் விடுவிக்கவில்லை.

தவெக அரசின் முதல் நிதிநிலை அறிக்கை மக்களின் எதிர்பார்ப்புகளை பொய்த்துப் போகச் செய்துள்ளது. தவெக-வின் தேர்தல் வாக்குறுதிகள் எதுவும் இடம் பெறவில்லை. திமுக அரசு என்ன தந்ததோ அதையேதான் தவெக, பட்ஜெட்டில் தந்திருக்கிறது" என்று சாடியிருக்கிறார்.
