Thoothukudi: Chinese firecrackers theft case; 9 people, including a TVK functionary, arrested – what is the background?

Officials from the Central Revenue Intelligence unit inspected a container that arrived at the Thoothukudi V.O. Chidambaranar Port in October 2025. They discovered Chinese firecrackers banned in India inside the cargo container.
