Behind the success of this organization, the contributions of these young men—Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das, and Ashutosh Ranga—are significant. What is their background? Abhijeet Dipke

Abhijeet Dipke, from Maharashtra, is the founder of the 'Cockroach Janata Party' organization. The 30-year-old completed his undergraduate degree in journalism at a reputed educational institution in Pune.

During his journalism studies, he gained a deep understanding of media ethics and politics, and he worked as the person in charge of social media strategy and election campaigning for the Aam Aadmi Party from 2020 to 2023.

In addition, during the 2020 Delhi Legislative Assembly election, he played a key role in leading a meme-based digital campaign to attract young voters and spread political messages.

After that, Abhijeet Thipke went to the United States for higher studies and earned a Master of Science degree in Public Relations from Boston University. It was around this time that, following the Chief Justice of India’s “cockroach” remark about the country’s youth, he started an organization called the “Cockroach Janata Party,” drawing attention across India.

Sourav Das

Saurav Das, based in Delhi, is the chief spokesperson of the 'Cockroach Janata Party' organization. He holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication from Amity University in Noida.

Even at the age of 18, he made highly effective use of the Right to Information Act (RTI) and brought to light various important secrets related to government administration and the judiciary. In particular, his RTI investigations into the functioning of information commissions, electronic voting machines, and judicial transparency have been widely discussed across India.

He has been continuously writing about human rights and government policies in leading publications. For his skilled investigative writing, he has received a grant from the internationally respected Pulitzer Center.

He is currently also writing the book Complicit Silence: The Court's Role in India's Quiet Suffering. As the spokesperson for the 'Cockroach Janata Party' organization, he not only voiced the students' concerns at press conferences, but also took part in official negotiations with officials of the Union Ministry of Education and put forward their demands.

Ashutosh Ranga

Ashutosh Ranga, from the state of Rajasthan, is also a spokesperson for the 'Cockroach Janata Party' organization. He earned a B.Tech degree from India's renowned IIT Kanpur and later completed a master's degree at the London School of Economics.

He has worked as a consultant at McKinsey, a leading international consulting firm, and has experience devising economic and operational strategies for global companies. Beyond corporate life, he has been interested in public service and has previously worked with the Aam Aadmi Party as well.

After returning to India in 2025, he has campaigned in Jaipur, the capital of his home state Rajasthan, for environmental protection, education, and youth rights.

At present, Ashutosh Ranga, who has emerged as one of the chief spokespersons of the 'Cockroach Party' organization, has also strategically led the struggle against NEET exam irregularities.
