X’s content creator revenue-sharing program (creator revenue sharing) is coming to an end. Elon Musk has introduced a new program in its place.
SpaceX has announced that the revenue-sharing program for those who create and post content called posts on X will expire on September 7, 2026, and that new applications for the program have been stopped since August 7.
However, it has clarified that those already participating in this program will continue to earn revenue until Sept. 7, and that the revenue will be credited to them in three installments.
From Sept. 8, existing members of the Creator Revenue Sharing program will now be given the opportunity to join the Original Content Rewards program. However, certain eligibility criteria have been defined for joining the new program.
At present, the eligibility requirements for those joining the Original Content Rewards program can be found through Creator Studio.
To join the creator revenue-sharing program, creators must have a Premium, Premium Business, or Premium Organizations subscription on X, along with at least 500,000 organic impressions and at least 500 verified followers in the past three months. This X account must be registered in an approved country and must agree to the terms on X.
As a result, those who have been creating content and earning revenue all these years now have the opportunity to join the new program and benefit from it.
