Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal said that a National People’s Meeting has been organized on August 1 with the aim of bringing together all stakeholders regarding the E20 fuel issue.
With the Cockroach Janata Party’s protest having succeeded in the NEET question paper leak issue, a new movement called the E20 Janata Party has now emerged.
Amid opposition from various quarters to the central government’s policy of blending 20% ethanol in petrol, the E20 Janata Party, which has been launched to coordinate that opposition, is going viral on X and Instagram.
In this situation, speaking to reporters in Delhi, Kejriwal said,
The E20 meeting is scheduled to be held on August 1 at the Constitution Club of India. He called on the public to participate in large numbers in this meeting.
We invite people to join this forum in large numbers, where discussions will be held on how to pressure the central government to roll back the use of E20 petrol.
Experts, as well as those who have faced problems with E20 fuel in their vehicles, are all invited to take part in this meeting.
He said that the Aam Aadmi Party had already launched an online petition demanding that the use of E20 fuel be made optional, and that around 200,000 people had signed it.
After this meeting, next week, I will go to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence with that online petition.
He said that those who wish to participate in this meeting virtually can send a message to 8588833212, and they will be provided with the online link to join. He spoke in this manner.
Earlier, it is noteworthy that at the beginning of this month, Kejriwal had written a letter seeking permission to meet Prime Minister Modi to discuss E20 fuel and to request a reduction in the price of ethanol-blended petrol.
