New Delhi: Nasdaq-listed travel booking platform MakeMyTrip announced today that its profit for the quarter ended June increased by 8.6 percent to $51.4 million.
The Gurugram-headquartered company reported a profit of $47.3 million in the same period of the previous financial year. The company’s bookings in the quarter rose 19.9 percent year-on-year to about $2.9 billion.
MakeMyTrip said it recorded strong growth in the quarter despite challenges caused by various external events affecting the travel sector.
Meanwhile, the company said revenue for the quarter increased by 16.1 percent year on year.
