A student who was under stress after scoring low marks in the NEET exam in Maharashtra died by suicide.
Ankita Sangale (19) was from Jalalpur village in Ahilyanagar district. She had recently completed Class 12 and appeared for the NEET re-exam held on June 21 this year. The result for this was announced on July 16. It is said that Ankita had scored low marks and was distressed because of it.
In this situation, he hanged himself and died at his home on the 25th of last month. Before taking his own life, he had written a letter stating the reason for it. The police have seized it.
Regarding this, a senior police officer said, “In the letter, he has mentioned that he was under stress because he scored low marks in the NEET exam and that is why he decided to end his life,” he said.
