Gather against E20 fuel! Kejriwal calls!

Aam Aadmi’s campaign against E20 fuel will continue, and if people want to stop this, they should join this struggle in large numbers, said Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal.

Speaking to reporters after leading a march to the Prime Minister’s residence with petitions against E20 fuel, Kejriwal said,

The Aam Aadmi Party will oppose any attempt to implement this policy in the states.

We also have MLAs in Goa and Gujarat. We will not allow the E20 plan to be implemented there either. The MLAs will oppose this in the legislative assemblies, he said.

Although only about 100 people took part in the rally held on Tuesday, they participated bravely despite facing criticism and ridicule on social media.

Delhi Police stopped him and other party leaders, who were trying to march toward the Prime Minister’s residence with around 100 people to submit more than 230,000 petitions against E20 fuel. As a result, they staged a protest on Feroz Shah Road.

If people want to be freed from the E20 project, they must come out onto the streets in large numbers and fight.

Aam Aadmi MP Sanjay Singh said that he raised this issue in Parliament and received a response indicating that the Central government is determined to implement the E20 project.

He also alleged that ethanol production would bring no benefit to Indian farmers; instead, this policy would benefit American farmers.

Accusing the policy of prioritizing foreign interests over Indian farmers, Kejriwal urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to stop importing ethanol from the United States, “without yielding to” President Donald Trump’s “pressure.”
