The Cockroach People’s Party will support the student protest currently being held against the government in Jharkhand, its founder Abhijeet Deepke has said.

Hundreds of students and young people have been staging an indefinite protest at the Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium in Ranchi since July 29, alleging irregularities in the examinations conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission and for other appointments.

The protest has demanded that a clear inquiry be conducted into these irregularities by forming a special committee of retired High Court judges from other states.

In this situation, Abhijeet Deepke said today (Aug. 5) that the CJP will support the protest being led by Jharkhand students, and that CJP members will go to Ranchi in person and stand in solidarity with the students’ protest.

Speaking to reporters in Maharashtra about this, Abhijeet Deepke said:

“People have lost faith in the judiciary, politics, the media, and the Election Commission. Our protest received support at the national level.

As the struggle grew, the protest was not only about academic issues but was also directed against educational institutions. Therefore, there is a need for a public pressure group to ensure the accountability of educational institutions.

For now, the CJP will function as a pressure group. Because India itself now needs a pressure group,” he said.

ஜார்க்கண்டில் அரசுக்கு எதிராக நடைபெற்று வரும் மாணவர் போராட்டத்துக்கு கரப்பான்பூச்சி மக்கள் கட்சி ஆதரவு அளிப்பதாக அதன் நிறுவனர் அபிஜீத் தீப்கே தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
