UNICEF has announced that 300 children have been killed in the 300 days since the ceasefire with Israel came into effect.

In Gaza, it was announced that the war that had been ongoing since 2023 would come to an end through the ceasefire agreement signed in October 2025 between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas.

However, Israeli forces are accused of carrying out attacks targeting residential areas and refugee camps in Gaza.

It is said that more than 1,000 people have been killed in Gaza in attacks carried out since the ceasefire was implemented.

In this situation, since the ceasefire was put in place, at least one child has been killed every day in Gaza, said Edward Beigbeder, UNICEF’s Director for the Middle East and North Africa.

Regarding this, he said today:

“In the 300 days since the ceasefire was brought into effect in October 2025, at least 300 children have been killed in Gaza. Accordingly, one child is being killed per day,” he said.

Previously, it is noteworthy that in Israel’s war on Gaza, more than 73,000 Palestinians, including women and children, have been killed.
