Tamil Nadu Budget 2026 - 27 has been presented in the Assembly today. In this, several announcements have been made on behalf of the Labour Welfare and Skill Development Department.

Tamil Nadu Finance Minister Mari Wilson is presenting the Tamil Nadu budget and delivering his speech.

Under the Labour Welfare and Skill Development Department heading, in the announcements he made,

Training will be provided on the maintenance of electric vehicles and batteries so that vehicle mechanics and persons engaged in vehicle maintenance work can also repair electric vehicles.

Over the next five-year period, a total of 22,500 people, including 12,500 vehicle mechanics, will benefit through this scheme. For this scheme, an allocation of Rs. 3 crore is being made in the current financial year.

A new vocational stream, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI and ML), will be introduced in government industrial training institutes at an estimated cost of Rs. 10 crore.

This sector will be introduced in a total of 50 industrial training institutes over 5 years, at the rate of 10 industrial training institutes per year. Through this scheme, 24,000 students will be enabled to receive training and employment opportunities in artificial intelligence technology over five years.

In addition, 5 new industrial training institutes will be established in Tamil Nadu at a total estimated cost of 90 crore rupees. For this, an allocation of 7.5 crore rupees is being made in the revised budget estimates.

Training classes for various competitive examinations conducted by the state government's competitive examination agencies are being conducted by the District Employment and Career Guidance Centres.

These training classes will now also be expanded to cover competitive examinations conducted by the Staff Selection Commission, Railway Recruitment Board, and Institute of Banking Personnel Selection of the Central Government.

An additional allocation of Rs. 3.38 crore will be made to conduct supplementary training classes for SSC, RRB, and IBPS competitive examinations through all District Employment and Career Guidance Centres.

With the aim of ensuring that Tamil Nadu’s youth acquire cutting-edge skills, making them employable, and also fostering entrepreneurial interest among them, this government is introducing the Success Skill Training Scheme.

Under this scheme, 12 lakh college students and one lakh unemployed youth will be provided skill training tailored to industrial needs this year. In addition, in collaboration with government and private industrial enterprises, on-the-job training will be provided to 20,000 youth in the first phase. During this on-the-job training period, a monthly stipend will be provided to graduates and those with vocational qualifications.

Priority under this scheme will be given to youth from families without permanent employment. An allocation of Rs. 150 crore is being made for the implementation of this scheme.

I am pleased to announce here that the Artificial Intelligence (AI Industry Development Program) will be launched. Under this scheme, he announced that an expert committee comprising educators and industry pioneers will be formed to design specialized artificial intelligence curricula tailored to the various levels of higher education.

தமிழ்நாடு நிதிநிலை அறிக்கை 2026 - 27, பேரவையில் இன்று தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதில், தொழிலாளர் நலன் மற்றும் திறன் மேம்பாடுத் துறை சார்பில் பல அறிவிப்புகள் வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளன.

தமிழக நிதியமைச்சர் மரிய வில்சன், தமிழக பட்ஜெட்டை தாக்கல் செய்து உரையாற்றி வருகிறார்.

தொழிலாளர் நலன் மற்றும் திறன் மேம்பாடுத் துறை தலைப்பில் அவர் வெளியிட்ட அறிவிப்புகளில்,

வாகன மெக்கானிக்குகள் மற்றும் வாகனப் பராமரிப்புப் பணிகளில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ள நபர்கள், மின்சார வாகனங்களையும் பழுதுபார்க்கும் வகையில் மின்சார வாகனங்கள் மற்றும் மின்கலன்களின் பராமரிப்பு குறித்த பயிற்சி வழங்கப்படும்.

அடுத்த ஐந்து ஆண்டு காலத்தில், 12,500 வாகன மெக்கானிக்குகள் உட்பட மொத்தம் 22,500 நபர்கள் இத்திட்டத்தின் வாயிலாக பயனடைவர். இத்திட்டத்திற்காக, நடப்பு நிதியாண்டில் 3 கோடி ரூபாய் நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்படுகிறது.

அரசு தொழிற்பயிற்சி நிலையங்களில் செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவு மற்றும் இயந்திரவழி கற்றல் (AI and ML) என்ற புதிய தொழிற்பிரிவு 10 கோடி ரூபாய் மதிப்பீட்டில் அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்படும்.

இத்தொழிற்பிரிவு, ஆண்டுக்கு 10 தொழிற்பயிற்சி நிலையங்கள் வீதம், 5 ஆண்டுகளில் மொத்தம் 50 தொழிற்பயிற்சி நிலையங்களில் அறிமுகம் செய்யப்படும். இத்திட்டத்தின் மூலம், ஐந்தாண்டுகளில் 24,000 மாணவர்கள் செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவு தொழில்நுட்பத்தில் பயிற்சி மற்றும் வேலைவாய்ப்புகளைப் பெற வழிவகை செய்யப்படும்.

மேலும், 5 புதிய தொழிற்பயிற்சி நிலையங்கள் 90 கோடி ரூபாய் மொத்த மதிப்பீட்டில் தமிழ்நாட்டில் நிறுவப்படும். இதற்காக, திருத்த வரவு-செலவுத் திட்ட மதிப்பீடுகளில் 7.5 கோடி ரூபாய் ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்படுகிறது.

மாநில அரசின் போட்டித் தேர்வு முகமைகளால் நடத்தப்படும் பல்வேறு போட்டித் தேர்வுகளுக்கான பயிற்சி வகுப்புகள், மாவட்ட வேலைவாய்ப்பு மற்றும் தொழில்நெறி வழிகாட்டும் மையங்களால் நடத்தப்பட்டு வருகின்றன.

இந்தப் பயிற்சி வகுப்புகள் தற்போது மத்திய அரசின் பணியாளர் தேர்வு ஆணையம், இரயில்வே பணியாளர் தேர்வு வாரியம், வங்கிப் பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையம் ஆகியவற்றால் நடத்தப்படும் போட்டித் தேர்வுகளுக்கும் விரிவுபடுத்தப்படும்.

அனைத்து மாவட்ட வேலைவாய்ப்பு மற்றும் தொழில் நெறி வழிகாட்டும் மையங்களின் மூலம் SSC, RRB, IBPS போட்டித் தேர்வுகளுக்கான கூடுதல் பயிற்சி வகுப்புகளை நடத்த 3.38 கோடி ரூபாய் கூடுதல் நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்படும்.

தமிழ்நாட்டு இளைஞர்கள் அதிநவீன திறன்களைப் பெறுவதை உறுதிசெய்து, அவர்களை வேலைவாய்ப்புக்குத் தகுதியுடையவர்களாக உருவாக்குவதுடன், அவர்களிடையே தொழில்முனைவு ஆர்வத்தையும் வளர்க்கும் நோக்கில், இந்த அரசு வெற்றித் திறன் பயிற்சித் திட்டத்தை அறிமுகப்படுத்துகிறது.
