In an attack carried out by armed groups in the early hours of Monday in the village of Naridan in Kaduna State in northwestern Nigeria, 30 people, including 8 children, were killed and 4 others were injured.
The armed group entered the village while people were sleeping, opened indiscriminate fire, and also set houses on fire. Villagers accused the security forces of arriving at the scene only several hours after the attack.
No organization has so far claimed responsibility for the attack. The police said that more detailed information will be released soon.
