Following the success of the Cockroach People’s Party’s protest against the NEET exam, the E20 People’s Party has emerged, pressing the demand for ethanol-free fuel.
As various doubts persist among the public about the sale of ethanol-blended petrol, discussions on the issue are also taking place.
This E20 People’s Party organization has been formed to insist that fuel stations should provide people the option to buy petrol without E20 blending, and to demand the resignation of Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari.
It is said that this organization has been formed in support of those involved in the transport industry, Delhi taxi and tourist vehicle operators, who are planning to march toward Parliament on August 4 to protest the implementation of E20 petrol.
The above organizations have been raising allegations that blending ethanol in petrol will certainly increase fuel consumption, raise vehicle maintenance costs, affect engine performance, and cause greater damage to older vehicles.
By Monday morning, nearly 32,000 people had joined its X page after the E20 People’s Party was formed on Sunday. It has also been emphasized that we do not want subsidies; we want fuel, and the system of ethanol-blended petrol should be withdrawn, or people should be given the option to buy petrol without ethanol blending.
It has also been emphasized that when using ethanol-blended fuel, the public should be informed of all the full details about it.
