A protest was held in Chennai yesterday on behalf of the VCK, urging the demands that the Central Government should completely abandon the NEET exam and that the Tamil Nadu government should enact a law exempting the state from NEET.

The protest, led by VCK leader Thirumavalavan, was attended by the party’s general secretary Sinthanai Selvan, treasurer S.S. Balaji, Kattumannarkoil MLA Jothi, and many VCK members.

Speaking at the protest, Thirumavalavan said: A huge uproar broke out in Delhi a few days ago. This struggle did not stop with Delhi; it spread across India and evolved into a protest involving thousands of ordinary people in places like Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad.

தமிழக அரசு வரும் சட்டப்பேரவை கூட்டத்தொடரில் நீட் தேர்வில் இருந்து தமிழகத்துக்கு விலக்கு அளிக்க கோரி சட்ட மசோதா நிறைவேற்ற வேண்டும். மேலும் தேசிய தேர்வு முகமையை கலைக்க வேண்டும் என்பதே எங்களின் கோரிக்கை. இவ்வாறு அவர் பேசினார்.
