A police officer said that 8 people, including school students, a teacher, and the gunman, were killed in a shooting incident carried out by a student at a school in Thailand today (August 7).
Initial investigations have revealed that the young man involved in the shooting was wearing that school’s uniform, and it has not been confirmed whether he was a student at the school. It also emerged that before coming to the school, he had shot and killed his grandparents at home, then came directly to the school and carried out the shooting.
It has been found that 26 rounds were fired from the gun, and that 34 unfired cartridges were found at the scene.
In this brutal attack at Debsirin Nonthaburi School in Bangkok’s northwestern suburbs, the injured were loaded into ambulances and rushed to the hospital.
It was heartbreaking to see the teachers and students who survived the shooting embrace one another and cry.
Photos have surfaced online of a team of doctors who arrived in an ambulance after learning of the shooting incident, providing life-saving treatment and first aid to those injured in the shooting on the school campus and sending them to the hospital.
Regarding this, the police said that among the eight people killed, the shooter is also suspected to be included, and that fifteen people have been injured.
