இதுகுறித்து செய்தியாளர்களிடம் பேசிய முன்னாள் நகராட்சித் தலைவர் ஃபரிதா நவாப், “நான் கிருஷ்ணகிரி 1 வது வார்டு கவுன்சிலராக உள்ளேன். கடந்த 09.02.2026 அன்று நகராட்சியின் சாதாரணக் கூட்டம் நடைபெறுவதாக 08.02.2026 அன்று தகவல் தெரிவித்தனர். விதிப்படி கூட்டம் கூட்ட ஒரு வாரத்திற்கு முன்பு அழைப்பு கடிதம் அனுப்ப வேண்டும், ஆனால் ஒரு நாள் முன்னதாகத்தான் தெரிவித்தனர்.

தொடர்ந்து பேசும்போது, “நான் நகராட்சித் தலைவராக இருந்தபோதும் இதுபோன்ற தீர்மானங்களில் கையெழுத்திட்டு முறைகேட்டில் ஈடுபட மாவட்டச் செயலாளர் மதியழகன் வலியுறுத்தினார். அதற்கு உடன்படாததால் என்னை தலைவர் பதவியிலிருந்து நீக்கினார்கள். இப்பொழுது துணைத்தலைவர் மூலம் முறைகேட்டில் ஈடுபடுகிறார்கள். இந்த ஊழலை அதிகாரிகள் விசாரித்து நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும்” என்றார்.
இந்த ஊழல் விவகாரத்தை நீதுமன்றத்தில் முறையிட உள்ளதாகவும் சொல்லப்படுகிறது.
