US President Donald Trump has accused Iranian forces of carrying out attacks on Indian ships near the Strait of Hormuz.
Three Indian sailors were killed in a drone attack carried out by US forces last Thursday (June 11) on Indian oil tankers near the Strait of Hormuz.
The Ministry of External Affairs has confirmed that the attack was carried out by a ship belonging to the US Navy.
Earlier, US Navy personnel, who had accused Indian ships of trying to break through the US blockade near the Strait of Hormuz and transport oil from Iran, have acknowledged carrying out this attack.
In this situation, U.S. President Trump’s post on his social media page saying that the attack carried out by Iran on Indian ships cannot be accepted has raised doubts among various parties.
