Many forces are trying to directly or indirectly affect our cultural values and weaken them.
India is not yet ready to become a 'Vishwaguru'. We do not have the necessary strength or the infrastructure for that. The world expects India to offer new paths and solutions.
But we do not have enough preparatory work to take on that responsibility. This is the time for the entire society to clearly understand its own identity and the nation’s purpose, and to work together actively for the good of India and the world,” he said.

நமது கலாசார விழுமியங்களை நேரடியாகவோ அல்லது மறைமுகமாகவோ பாதிக்கச் செய்து, அவற்றைப் பலவீனப்படுத்த பல சக்திகள் முயன்று வருகின்றன.
இந்தியா இன்னும் ‘விஸ்வகுரு’ ஆவதற்குத் தயாராகவில்லை. அதற்கான போதிய வலிமையும் கட்டமைப்புகளும் நம்மிடம் இல்லை. இந்தியாவிடம் புதிய வழியையும் தீர்வுகளையும் உலகம் எதிர்பார்க்கிறது.
ஆனால், அந்தப் பொறுப்பை ஏற்கும் அளவுக்கு நம்மிடம் போதிய ஆயத்தப் பணிகள் இல்லை. ஒட்டுமொத்த சமுதாயமும் தங்களின் சொந்த அடையாளம் மற்றும் நாட்டின் நோக்கத்தை தெளிவாகப் புரிந்து கொண்டு, இந்தியா மற்றும் உலக நன்மைக்காக ஒன்றிணைந்து, சுறுசுறுப்பாகச் செயல்பட வேண்டிய நேரம் இது” என்று பேசியிருக்கிறார்.
