The Chennai Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of heavy rain in 5 districts of Tamil Nadu tomorrow.
In a press release issued by the Chennai Meteorological Department regarding this, rain has occurred at a few places in Tamil Nadu over the past 24 hours. Very light rain was recorded in Puducherry and Karaikal areas.

In Tamil Nadu, the maximum temperature was 2-3 degrees Celsius below normal in one or two places, and near normal in the rest of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.
An atmospheric cyclonic circulation persists over Rayalaseema and adjoining areas at an altitude of about 3.1 km and 4.5 km. As a result, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning may occur at one or two places in Tamil Nadu today.
Heavy rain accompanied by thunder, lightning, and strong winds (at speeds of 40 to 50 km per hour) may occur at one or two places in the districts of Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Theni, Dindigul, Erode, Salem, Tiruchirappalli, and Madurai.
Tomorrow (Monday): Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur at a few places in Tamil Nadu.
Heavy rain with thunder, lightning, and strong winds (at speeds of 30 to 40 km per hour) may occur at one or two places in the hilly areas of Coimbatore district and in Nilgiris, Dindigul, Theni, and Sivaganga districts.
