The opening ceremony of the TVK office in Thimmapatti, which falls under the Veerapandi Assembly constituency in Salem district, was held on Sunday. Speaking to us about this violation, DMK lawyer Tamilaran said, "There are various restrictions even for taking school students to government functions. They have taken government school students there solely because an MLA from the ruling party was coming.
On a holiday, they took them in uniform and made the children wait for about two hours. Departmental action should be taken against Kural Natham Government Primary School headmaster Deivanayagam, who was involved in this violation," he said.
We spoke to Headmaster Deivanayagam, who said, "I am the one who worked hard to develop this school into one of the model government schools. With the money I collected, I bought umbrellas for 100 children just last week for protection from the sun. Water shortage in the school is a major problem. They said the MLA was coming. We went to meet him and submit a petition. In the end, something like this has happened. I have absolutely no connection with any political party."
We asked Salem District Chief Educational Officer Maheswari about this, and she assured us, "We have also received a complaint regarding this. I have ordered an inquiry to ascertain the facts. If it is confirmed, departmental action will definitely be taken."

இந்த அத்துமீறல் குறித்து நம்மிடம் பேசிய தி.மு.க- வைச் சேர்ந்த வழக்கறிஞர் தமிழரன், “அரசு நிகழ்ச்சிகளுக்கு பள்ளி மாணவர்களை அழைத்துச் செல்வதற்கே பல்வேறு கட்டுப்பாடுகள் உள்ளன. ஆளுங்கட்சி எம்.எல்.ஏ வருகிறார் என்கிற ஒரே காரணத்திற்காக அரசுப்பள்ளி மாணவர்களை அழைத்துச் சென்றிருக்கிறார்கள்.
விடுமுறை நாளில் சீருடையில் அழைத்துச் சென்று சுமார் 2 மணி நேரம் வரை குழந்தைகளை காத்திருக்க வைத்திருக்கிறார்கள். விதிமீறலில் ஈடுபட்ட குரால் நத்தம் அரசு தொடக்கப்பள்ளி தலைமை ஆசிரியர் தெய்வநாயகம் மீது துறை ரீதியான நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும்” என்றார்.
தலைமையாசிரியர் தெய்வநாயகத்திடம் பேசினோம், ” இந்த பள்ளியை முன்மாதிரி அரசு பள்ளிகளில் ஒன்றாக முன்னேற்ற பாடுபட்டவன் நான். சம்மள பணம் 10 ஆயிரம் ரூபாயில் 100 குழைந்தைகளுக்கு போன வாரம் தான் வெயிலுக்கு குடை வாங்கிக் கொடுத்தேன். பள்ளியில் தண்ணீர் பற்றாக்குறை பெரிய பிரச்னையாக இருக்கிறது. எம்.எல்.ஏ வருகிறார் என்றார்கள். அவரைச் சந்தித்து மனு கொடுக்க சென்றோம். கடைசியில் இந்தமாதிரியான வில்லங்கம் வந்துவிட்டது. அரசியல் கட்சிக்கும் எனக்கும் துளியும் சம்பந்தமில்லை ” என்றார்.
