தனிப்பெரும் கட்சியாக தவெக கூடுதல் இடங்களை வென்று ஆட்சியமைப்பதற்கு வாய்ப்புள்ளக் கட்சியாக அதுதான் இருந்தது. அதனால் தவெக ஆட்சி அமைக்கக்கூடாது, இதை தடுக்கும் நோக்கத்துடன் இத்தகைய முயற்சிகள் (திமுக – அதிமுக கூட்டணி பேச்சுவார்த்தைகள்) நடைபெற்றன என்பது உண்மைதான்.

திடீரென்று இந்தத் தேர்தலில் தோல்வி அடைந்ததை ஒட்டி ஒரு கட்சி ஆட்சி அமைப்பதையும், மற்றொரு கட்சி ஆதரவு அளிப்பதையும் மக்கள் ஏற்கமாட்டார்கள்.
மக்கள் தீர்ப்புக்கு எதிரானது என்பதால் இதனை நாங்கள் ஏற்க மாட்டோம் என்று சொல்லிவிட்டோம்” என்று தெரிவித்திருக்கிறார்.
