“Chief Minister’s pharmacy does not have sufficient medicines; the plan itself is a failure” – AIADMK Dr. Saravanan

"In the Chief Minister's pharmacy, there are not enough medicines; the scheme is a failure" – AIADMK's Dr. Saravanan

In a statement released by Dr. Saravanan, State Deputy Secretary of the AIADMK Medical Wing, "In the past four and a half years under DMK rule, no projects have been properly implemented. The DMK government has halted the projects initiated during Jayalalithaa's and Edappadi Palaniswami's administrations. Chief Minister Stalin has stopped numerous welfare schemes introduced during the AIADMK regime, including the laptop scheme, gold for the forehead, Amma drinking water, Amma salt, Amma cement, and house repairs. Over 700 Amma canteens operating across Tamil Nadu for the benefit of the common people have been gradually closed down. A closing ceremony was held for the two thousand Amma Mini Clinics that served 2.5 million people every month. Stalin is proudly stating that 25 million people have benefited through the "Medicine to the People" scheme. They are reporting that medicine given to one beneficiary is being counted as given to three people. "First place in buying the most cough syrups in courts" – Dr. Saravanan criticizes the DMK government. Earlier, Amma Pharmacies were operating throughout Tamil Nadu, but last February, the Chief Minister introduced the "Chief Minister Pharmacy" scheme to shut them down. Under this scheme, 500 pharmacies were started through cooperative societies and 500 pharmacies through entrepreneurs. They announced that if medicines are purchased from those pharmacies, bulk discounts would be available. Dr. Saravanan, however, says that currently there are not enough medicines in the Chief Minister's pharmacies, and the public is complaining that the prices are not proper. Sales have now decreased, and the scheme is on the verge of failure. Stalin, who claims the Dravidian model government is an achievement for everything, has today turned Tamil Nadu into a heavily indebted state; will he call all this an achievement? In the last assembly election, Stalin promised 525 commitments, but fulfilled only 10 percent of them, yet falsely claims to have completed 100 percent without hesitation. In the upcoming assembly elections, the people of Tamil Nadu will teach the right lesson and make Edappadi Palaniswami the Chief Minister, he said. "Not even a single medical college has come up under Stalin's rule," accused AIADMK's Dr. Saravanan. Source: India News Click the link above to read the full article on the original website.
