Violence has been occurring in Bangladesh since last year. Due to the violence last year, former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken refuge in India. As a result, a temporary government led by Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus is in power in Bangladesh. That government has requested India to extradite Sheikh Hasina back to their country. In a new development, Sheikh Osman Hadi, the youth leader who incited the violence that led to the overthrow of Sheikh Hasina's government last year, has been assassinated. Elections have been announced in Bangladesh for the coming February. Hadi is contesting in this election.
While he was campaigning in Dhaka, a masked person on a two-wheeler shot Hadi in the head and escaped. The attacked journalist office Hadi was taken to Singapore for treatment. However, he died as the treatment was ineffective. As a result, there is unrest across Bangladesh again today. Protesters are blocking highways and conducting protests. Due to their protests, vehicles are being set on fire everywhere. They are targeting and attacking the houses of former ministers who were part of Sheikh Hasina's government. Additionally, they have entered a newspaper office and vandalized it.
They set fire to that office. Twenty-five journalists inside escaped. In a place called Shatogram, protesters attacked the house of an Indian embassy official with stones. In Dhaka, protesters marched towards the Indian embassy. Breaking through barricades, they shouted slogans against India as they proceeded. The protests are intensifying in major cities of Bangladesh. There is a question of whether the elections scheduled for February will take place due to these protests. It is noteworthy that Hadi, who was killed, was against India.
A Hindu man named Thibu Chandra Das was beaten to death by the Hindu community in a place called Kolaiman Singh. At the company where he worked, an event was organized for the World Arabic Language Program. It appears that Das spoke controversially about Islam and the Prophet Muhammad. His words spread throughout the company. Following this, the people there gathered and beat Das. Das died at the scene. Not stopping there, the group took Das's body to a nearby bus station. They tied his body to a tree at the bus station. Then, seemingly in anger, they beat his body again.
After that, the body was taken from there to the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway. They set the body on fire on the highway. This disrupted vehicle traffic. The local people fled in fear, screaming. Regarding this incident, the interim Bangladesh leader Muhammad Yunus stated that they will not spare those responsible for Tass's murder and emphasized that there is no place for violence in Bangladesh. Furthermore, in his statement about the Hadi massacre, he said, "In these difficult times, we urge every citizen to reject violence, provocation, and hatred and to pay tribute to the martyr Hadi."

புதிய திருப்பமாக கடந்த ஆண்டு ஷேக் ஹசீனா அரசு கவிழ்வதற்கு காரணமான வன்முறையை தூண்டிவிட்ட இளைஞரணித் தலைவரான ஷேக் ஓஸ்மான் ஹாடி என்பவர் படுகொலைசெய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார். பங்களாதேஷில் வரும் பிப்ரவரி மாதம் தேர்தல் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இத்தேர்தலில் ஹாடி போட்டியிடுகிறார். அவர் டாக்காவில் தேர்தல் பிரசாரத்தில் ஈடுபட்டிருந்தபோது முகமூடி அணிந்து இருசக்கர வாகனத்தில் வந்த நபர் ஹாடியின் தலையில் சுட்டுவிட்டுத் தப்பிச் சென்றுவிட்டார்.
