Union Home Minister Amit Shah laid the foundation stone for a new circumambulation path and conservation works at the famous Mahalaxmi Temple in Kolhapur.
For this event, Amit Shah, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde traveled together in the same car.
After offering prayers to Goddess Mahalaxmi, Amit Shah inaugurated various development works in the temple premises. He also reviewed the development projects being carried out in the area under the West Maharashtra Temple Development Plan.
Amit Shah is also scheduled to address the public meeting in Kolhapur and the farmers’ meeting in Ichalkaranji city.
This public meeting has been organized by the BJP in Kolhapur to thank the voters who helped the 'Mahayuti' (alliance) candidates win in the legislative assembly election.
