A two-day conference with IAS, IPS and IFS officers, chaired by Chief Minister Joseph Vijay, is set to be held at the Chennai Secretariat on June 29 and 30.
It is customary for a conference with IAS, IPS and IFS officers to be held every year under the Chief Minister’s chairmanship to discuss Tamil Nadu’s law and order situation, administration, welfare schemes, investment attraction and industrial growth, among other matters.
With the TVK government having newly taken office, a two-day conference with IAS, IPS and IFS officers, chaired for the first time by Chief Minister Joseph Vijay, is set to be held at the Chennai Secretariat on June 29 and 30.
In this conference, senior IAS, IPS and IFS officers, all district collectors, district police superintendents, and district forest officers are set to participate.
At a time when opposition parties have been alleging that the law-and-order situation in Tamil Nadu is deteriorating, the two-day conference with IAS and IPS officers is being seen as significant.
