At the G7 summit currently taking place in France, U.S. President Donald Trump spoke on Wednesday (June 17) about the peace agreement set to be signed between Iran and the United States.
Since no conclusion was reached in the war talks between Iran and Israel and the United States, which began on Feb. 28, attacks continued. Following this, Trump announced that the Iran-U.S. peace agreement had reached its final stage and that both countries would sign the agreement on June 19.
This year’s G7 summit is being held in the French city of Evian from June 15 to 17. As part of the G7 summit, Trump held talks with the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Trump said in this discussion:
This agreement is not the final decision. It is a memorandum of understanding. If I don’t like it, we will shoot them again (Iran). We will drop bombs on their heads. If they do not behave properly, we will attack them again. Because they have been behaving badly for 47 years.
Earlier, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance had said, “We have already signed the agreement digitally,” which is noteworthy.
