Reports say that 7 MPs and 16 MLAs from the Shiv Sena party led by Uddhav Thackeray are set to join the Shiv Sena led by Shinde.
During the political crisis in Maharashtra in 2022, Shiv Sena split into two. The faction led by Eknath Shinde extended support to the BJP and removed Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray from the chief minister’s post.
After the Election Commission of India recognized the faction led by Eknath Shinde, that side secured the party’s name and symbol. Uddhav Thackeray’s camp has been renamed as 'Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray' (UBT) and is functioning under that name.
In this situation, reports emerged that negotiations were underway for 7 of the 9 Lok Sabha MPs and 16 of the 20 MLAs in the Shiv Sena Uddhav faction to join the Shinde faction.
It is said that when Eknath Shinde went to Delhi on June 7, Uddhav faction MPs met him and spoke with him.
While it is said that this move has been named “Operation Tiger,” Shiv Sena senior leader and MLC Gurupaal Thumane said on Tuesday that the joining of all seven people has reached the near-final stage.
Regarding this, he said, “If you go to a hospital for an operation, they will first examine the body, and only then will the doctor give a date for the operation. At present, the operation will take place on the scheduled date.”
He further said that they will join Shiv Sena before the Parliament’s monsoon session, which is scheduled to be held in July.
In this regard, Shiv Sena Uddhav faction senior leader Sanjay Raut told reporters:
“They think we are tigers. Facing a tiger is not an easy task. They have no other work. Our party remains united.
Something like this happened in Shiv Sena before as well. But our party still stands firm. Our party has a long history of struggle. It does not matter to us whether MPs or MLAs are in the party or leave it. Our party is built by its workers,” he said.
Since two-thirds of the members are joining another party, action cannot be sought under the anti-defection law.
After 58 Trinamool Congress MLAs joined together and replaced the assembly party leader appointed by the party leadership, 20 MPs from the party are also set to join another party and extend support to the National Democratic Alliance.
Through this, it is noteworthy that the National Democratic Alliance is rapidly moving closer to a two-thirds majority in Parliament.

இதுதொடர்பாக அவர் கூறுகையில், “மருத்துவமனைக்கு ஆபரேஷனுக்காக சென்றால், முதலில் உடலைப் பரிசோதிப்பார்கள், பின்னர்தான் ஆபரேஷனுக்கான தேதியை மருத்துவர் அளிப்பார். தற்போது ஆபரேஷன் உரிய தேதியில் நடைபெறும்” எனத் தெரிவித்தார்.
மேலும், ஜூலையில் நடைபெறவுள்ள நாடாளுமன்ற மழைக்கால கூட்டத்தொடருக்கு முன்னதாக அவர்கள் சிவசேனையில் இணைவார்கள் என குருபால் துமானே தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
இதுதொடர்பாக சிவசேனை உத்தவ் அணியின் மூத்த தலைவர் சஞ்சய் ரெளத் செய்தியாளர்களிடம் பேசியதாவது:
“அவர்கள் எங்களைப் புலிகள் என்று நினைக்கிறார்கள். ஒரு புலியை எதிர்கொள்வது எளிதான காரியம் அல்ல. அவர்களுக்கு வேறு எந்த வேலையும் இல்லை. எங்கள் கட்சி ஒற்றுமையாகவே உள்ளது.
முன்பும் சிவசேனையில் இதுபோன்று நடந்தது. ஆனால் எங்கள் கட்சி இப்போதும் நிலைத்து நிற்கிறது. எங்கள் கட்சிக்கு நீண்ட போராட்ட வரலாறு உண்டு. நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர்களோ அல்லது சட்டப்பேரவை உறுப்பினர்களோ கட்சியில் இருப்பதும், வெளியேறுவதும் எங்களுக்கு ஒரு பொருட்டல்ல. எங்கள் கட்சி என்பது தொண்டர்களால் உருவானது” எனத் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

திரிணமூல் காங்கிரஸின் 58 எம்.எல்.ஏ.க்கள் இணைந்து கட்சித் தலைமை நியமித்த பேரவைக் குழுத் தலைவரை மாற்றிய நிலையில், அக்கட்சியின் 20 எம்.பி.க்கள் மாற்றுக் கட்சியில் இணைந்து, தேசிய ஜனநாயகக் கூட்டணிக்கு ஆதரவு அளிக்கவுள்ளனர்.
இதன்மூலம், நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் மூன்றில் இரு மடங்கு பெரும்பான்மையை தேசிய ஜனநாயகக் கூட்டணி வேகமாக நெருங்கி வருவது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
