Lok Sabha Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi is set to lead a massive protest movement by bringing together students, exam candidates, and unemployed youth against question paper leaks, exam irregularities, and unemployment.
Following the NEET exam held across the country on May 3, the exam was canceled due to a question paper leak, and the NEET retest is scheduled to be held on June 21. Similarly, irregularities are taking place in various government and higher-education entrance examinations across the country. Likewise, unemployment in the country has also emerged as a major problem.
Therefore, Lok Sabha Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi is launching a massive movement from June 17, bringing together students, exam candidates, and unemployed youth against question paper leaks, exam irregularities, and unemployment. For this, he will hold conventions in various parts of the country.
The first student convention will be held on June 17 in Kota, Rajasthan, a state with a large number of NEET coaching centers.
Following this, on July 10 in Allahabad (Prayagraj), Uttar Pradesh
July 11 - Patna, Bihar
On July 14, a massive conference is set to be held in the national capital, Delhi, under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. It has been stated that examinees and young people will participate in large numbers.
In this regard, in a statement issued by All India Congress Committee Organization Secretary and Member of Parliament K.C. Venugopal,
"Under the guidance of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and under the inspiring leadership of Rahul Gandhi, the Indian National Congress has announced the first phase of a nationwide protest movement against question paper leaks, examination irregularities, unemployment, and the Modi government's systematic betrayal of India's youth.
Rahul Gandhi, who has emerged as a leader consistently and credibly raising his voice for the rights of Indian students and youth, is set to hold major conventions for students.
These conventions will be held in Kota (June 17), Allahabad (July 10), Patna (July 11), and Delhi (July 14).
Students, young people preparing for competitive examinations, youth organizations, educators, and everyone directly affected by examination irregularities will participate in them.
This movement will highlight how the futures of millions of young people continue to be affected by question paper leaks, rising examination fees, and the government’s failure to ensure a fair and transparent recruitment and education system.
As part of this nationwide movement, the Congress party will reiterate Rahul Gandhi’s call to mobilize students in large numbers.
For this, extensive outreach efforts will be carried out through the National Students’ Union of India, the Indian Youth Congress, state Congress committees, district Congress committees, and local organizations.
Direct and digital invitations, campus outreach campaigns, discussions at training centers, universities, schools, and places where young people gather in large numbers, social media campaigns, live broadcasts, and direct interactions with students will be carried out on a large scale.
Reflecting Rahul Gandhi’s commitment that the dreams and aspirations of Indian youth should not be sacrificed to corruption, incompetence, or political apathy, this movement will bring students together across political affiliations and create a platform for young people affected by exam irregularities and question paper leaks to share their experiences and demand accountability for such repeated failures.
This movement will take to the people the demands put forward by Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi.
They are:
• Decentralize the NEET examination
• Completely abolish examination fees
• Taking strict legal action against those involved in question paper leak gangs
• Holding even top government officials accountable
• The demand that the Union Education Minister should resign
By continuously raising these issues, Rahul Gandhi has turned the protection of merit, fairness, and equal opportunities for young people into an urgent matter of national importance.
Therefore, the Congress party will insist that a detailed debate be held in Parliament about this crisis facing India’s youth.
