In the DMK alliance, Congress has been allocated 28 seats, DMK 10, VCK 8, Communists 5 each, Komateka 2, MDMK 4, Indian Union Muslim League and MAMAK 2 seats each. ஆனால் தற்போது மதிமுகவிற்கு ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட 4 தொகுதிகளிலும் அக்கட்சி உதயசூரியன் சின்னத்திலேயே போட்டியிடுவதாக அறிவித்திருக்கிறது.
இதுதொடர்பாக மதிமுக தலைவர் வைகோ வெளியிட்டிருக்கும் அறிவிப்பில், “2026, ஏப்ரல் திங்களில் நடைபெற இருக்கும் தமிழ்நாடு சட்டமன்றத் தேர்தலில், திமுக தலைமையிலான மதச்சார்பற்ற முற்போக்கு கூட்டணியில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ள மறுமலர்ச்சி தி.மு.கழகத்திற்கு ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட தொகுதிகளில் ஒன்றான சீர்காழி (தனி) தொகுதியிலும் கழக வேட்பாளர் வழக்கறிஞர் இரா.செந்தில்செல்வன் அவர்கள் உதயசூரியன் சின்னத்தில் போட்டியிடுகிறார் என்பதை தலைமைக் கழகத்தின் சார்பில் அறிவிக்கிறேன்” என்று தெரிவித்திருக்கிறார்.
